Mel-- I did like the movie. I think it was sort of like a long episode BUT it cleared up a lot of things by the end and didn't leave you wanting more. The humor was great and to me it was juts fun and funny, sad and happy all in one- and thats rare in a movie a lot of times! How did your pie come out? [/COLOR][/B]

Glad you liked it. I'm going to wait for the video. Movies are too darn expensive. I will see the "action" ones on the big screen....

Pie came out GORGEOUS! So easy and yummy! I don't like rhubarb but amazingly if you add in orange zest, sugar and strawberries it's YUMMY!

Today is Nascar, laundry and kids music lessons. I also want to get back to Lane Bryant to use my real women dollars..(take 25$off for every $50 you spend) Been doing reseach all morning on shark attacks/Vero. We are going in 19 days (I think...) and I want to be sure not to get eaten by any predators... Only one fatality there that I could find in decades, was 1998. So, probably safe? I know, I know, sharks live in the ocean. I'm just a weirdly cautious person.

BTW, we played Scrabble last night with DS10 (he was very glum over his bro going to a friends (he's 15 1/2) so we were trying to cheer him up) and he beat us both!
I don't know whether to be proud that he's so smart or worried that we were both beaten by a 10 yr old.

I'm writing about art theory and applying various aesthetic theories to an art object (painting by American artist George Bellows) and an art-like object.... a Tinkerbell topiary from the F&G Fest! So far, as tested by 3 theories, Tink comes out as fine art. Walt would be pleased.

Apparently not-----I still hear Sing Star blasting!

I think they had a good time tho---I only had to call them down once at 1:30 when I heard screaming---turns out they went up to BAs room and woke her up with a pillow fight. She loved it and woke back up to join the party (probably to her sis's dismay).

Glad they all had a good time!

DH worked till midnite and then back to work this am----at least that's where he SAID he was going---he may just be avoiding the party! (smart man)

Yeah sure he had to work . Is the bar from Port Orleans close by That's where I would have been had there ben 10 15 year olds in my house

Beautiful day here in Jersey. Murph got home (safely) from Cancun so I am heading over there later to bring Cooper home and have lunch with her.

A little more info came out Friday. I definately am having survivor guilt over the lay off. Remember how long they were taking to finalize the transfer. Well, see the division I transfered to took a hit even thought the actual department didn't, to make room for me in the division, someone had to go for the division . The initial plan was to move someone internally in the division. But the VP didn't feel anyone good could fill the spot nearly as well as me. My replacement from the old department will have to be from the outside as no one is really qualified internally. The exec committee wanted to make sure transfering me really was the best option all the way around.

I have been eating like a horse this weekend from all of this, I am definately a stress eater.

Glad to hear Murph's home safe and sound. Crazy about the work drama, but really Mo, you had nothing to do with it.

As for Fockerfest...twelve REAL weeks from yesterday, right?

Well last night wasn't too bad. I watched a friends baby from 1pm to 9pm. Was supposed to keep him until 11pm, but they came home early. He was so good, just a little active . Maddie and Evan were upstairs when he left (still sleeping) and afterward Evan cried for 1 hour over the fact "they took our baby"!!! He so wants a baby brother and has been telling everyone that I have a baby in my tummy.
We're heading off to hang out with Andy's sister at Victoria Gardens. Have no clue what it is, just know it's far!! She said is like an outdoor mall of some kind. We'll see.

Hello to all my Sisters.. I woke up at 4:30 AGAIN... Why am I waking up so early on Sunday.. Don't have to be up till 6:00.
Still fuming a little about Sara and her Friday Drama.. But I am still going to be looking into moving her out of her current school. Turns out other parents are unhappy as well and the past two years have seen a turn around and not for the better.

16 days till Disney ... I've gotta get my house TOTALLY clean this week.. and get one more last entry into my PTR.

They are around $35 for kids and really work well---cheap enough to buy a new pair when she grows out of the last one, and really easy to wipe clean!

Nope, no hiking boots allowed. I'm tempted to get whatever a size big, though, and put an extra insert in as needed!

I like these: zip up are best IMO. And yes, most places require paddock boots and a helmet for safety reasons. Reg boots will not have the toe protection and the heel may not be safe for the stirrups (could get stuck in them).
