She sadi she was due back from her Dad's today.

V - HAve a great time at the movie. I just got the "invitation" for Jimmy's graduation and I have to bring a dish for the picnic afterwards. They are 4, this isn't even preK...its freaking daycare... :sad2:

 Janet. I'm stocking up on Milk Duds for Jo..........:rotfl2:

I can't believe that they are having a graduation from daycare. How on earth do they expect parents to attend that? Isn't the whole point that you are WORKING? That's why the kids are there right???? :confused3

My boys are getting out on June 13th. That is pretty early for them, and we had a TON of snow days. We go back after Labor Day so that's a pretty long break, I think.

I've got my GG order ready to go. Does anyone know how they handle delivery? We are not arriving until late evening (about 7 or 8) Do they send it early and have them refridge it? Just not sure, we've never used it.

Mel

Thansk! LOL, I had to bring "meat" for Leo's picnic today. And they infomred us YESTERDAY that the kids can't attend the picnic without a parent. Good thing his dad doesn't work. :rotfl2:

My argument exactly. Then nexdt year he will have PreK graduation, then the year after that a Kindergarten graduation. Boy is he going to be disappointed after 1st grade...no graduation for that:rotfl:

That is a good break. The 13th is the graduation too. Then "camp" starts on the 16th (at the same place;) ), but Jimmy will only be there for 2 weeks, until the 27th. Then he will have the summer off.!:thumbsup2

I believe you pick your window of delivery time and yes the front desk will fridge it for you until you arrive. I am planning on using them in August, so you will have to let me know if it works well. I think T and LL used them.:confused3

Sara had one but the ceremony was in the evening. Do not get the ones Mid-day.

Going through the closets.. looks like both kids will need someTank tops for Disney. Can't they just stop all this growing?? :worried: Last year the shirts were big on them ... this year.. too short or too tight.:headache:
Guess I had better go looking today or early next week for shirts.

Got a big pile of clothes for "Goodwill" and most is itemized to claim on my taxes. The rest will have to wait till AFTER DISNEY.

Now I can clean my Living room.

Be good guys..Don't start any big Chatty sessions without me.:rotfl:

I miss Jo, too. I'm not in Nice until Sunday morning (Jo time+1 hour...) But, my in-laws are here, and I had a dentist appointment. No cavities! ;)
Oops! sorry--I had you already gone! (Let me know when I can start back talking about you behind your back! ;) )

My inlaws never can figure out my TV---my FIL just calls BA to come find ESPN! :rotfl:

I think I am the only person here not planning on see SATC in the theatres. Ticket prices are just so expensive and it is not exactly the type of movie that begs to be seen on the big screen. So I'll be waiting to see it on DVD, I am sure it won't take long to come out.

:furious:
I can't BELIEVE you, Lessa!

(BTW---WTH is SATC????

Just dropping in to say that
Baylie made the team!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Do you like the team colors (lime and teal)
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Yeah!!!!

Congrats Baylie!!!!!

Ab has cheer tryouts today and she was nervous-- she wants to make both fall and winter squads this year.

Just so everyone knows. Jo is alive and well. Can't DIs from her dad's, but she did send me an email. She said she will be home tomorrow.:thumbsup2

 I didn't get an email---and I just checked twice.

OK, look I DID NOT bribe, browbeat or threaten Jo to send me an email. Just becasue she likes me better han all of you is no need to start "talking" about me. Lime green is cool, but pea green is  :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe mine hasn't come through yet.......I'm gonna stare at the screen till it does!

+++++++++++++++++++

BA had a cheer event last nite---they performed for a mommy/baby fair and did well. I walked around the exhibits some and it seemed like a foreign world of baby slings, nursing clothes, etc! The kindermusic reminded me of Ab when she was little!:goodvibes

Got to go to BA's field day after lunch---the moms are hosting the ice cream party!

Well there is always GRANDCHILDREN... You've got a Teen.. Maybe 10 years away.. hopefully not sooner.;) Just the thought of Sara being a Teen then going to college.. and all this Intimate fellowship that happens wayyyy too young. :scared1:
"Granny T" Got a nice ring to it.

Fockers... V and Company....

I HAVE NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW EITHER

I haven't it either. And I haven't seen American Idol, Dancing With the Stars or The Bachelor.

SWEET! If you can believe it, no one sells UF stuff around here, so I have to mail-order. :sad2: I was hoping to take in a game at the Swamp this year - maybe even with Leo - but it's not looking good.

V, do all of your UF shopping here. It's everywhere! In Target, the grocery and the gas station. :faint:

That reminded me.. what about those new luggage fees :scared1: OUCH!!

Delta ( and most carriers)asking for $25.00 for the second checked bag.. and $85.00 per bag is you have 3-5.

This happened to me this weekend. Since I upgraded to business class, I didn't have to pay going, but coming home, I had a third bag of recycled baby clothes for my sister and had to pay $50. Of course once I was on the plane, I thought I should have carried it on with me.

No WAY?! I'm Gatoring-up next time in Orlando :thumbsup2 So folks aren't all over UCF? USF has taken over round here. Which is good, but tough for us die-hard Gators.

O.K. now that is just wrong....:lmao: You are an American aren't you :confused3 :rotfl:

Last year we flew "Allegiant" and they charged for EVERY CHECKED BAG. Flights were cheap.. so I guess thats how they were going to make their money. Looked at them this year and WOW their Checked rates. were Double and that was BEFORE the gas was 4.00.

Not a "Gator Fan" but at least they are in the SEC. So when they are playing for a Title.. unless they are playing Kentucky I will root for them . THOSE ARE SOME BIG BOYS  When I was in college. we ( The Band) were on the sidelines waiting for halftime.. and I was behind the Florida Bench.. ( we are talking football players here)I was IN AWE.. I did not know they grew guys that big. Our players were always small but quick.. had to be or get KILLED.

So when Ky has GOOD football team and our Basketball team S -U -C -KS.. ( like the past 3 years) I am in Shock...
espically when they knocked off the #1 Team ( at the time) in the Country this past year. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Fingers crossed for her:thumbsup2

Jo, you better send TE and email before she goes blind staring at her computer screen:rotfl:

Got to go to BA's field day after lunch---the moms are hosting the ice cream party!

Sounds like fun.

  You're getting points deducted for that! You betta suck up fast or I'm calling in the other sheriff! :rotfl:

........and yes, hopefully not sooner.......we've had that talk a lot as she sees pregnant teens at school. One girl delivered last year........stayed in school.......and is now due with twins next month. (same dad, not married, her mom takes care of the baby).
Can you imagine 3 babies at 17???

O.K. now that is just wrong....:lmao: You are an American aren't you :confused3 :rotfl:

Oooh...KAtt got in trouble:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sadly, I can. Jim taught a boy who when he was in 7th grade (13) got a 16 year old girl pregnant. HEr parents threw her out so his mom let her move in with them, AND SHARE A ROOM! By the time this kid was in 8th grade he had 2 kids:scared1:

I just do not know what kids are thinking. If the STD's were not scary enough. We had "THE TALK" with Sara earlier this year.. and right now if THAT WORD comes up or she sees it in print.. even if on a questionaire about Gender... she freaks . I hope she still freaks till she gets married.

I am quite sure TE that you have level headed girls. And you will not be "Granny T" for at least 7 more years.:bitelip:

Does Allegiant fly outta Roanoke?
Yes they do straight to Fla.

Hi everyone :wave2: I'm home, I didn't get near a PC till yesterday and then I only checked my e-mails, so what's happened around here????? Who's going to do a great recap for me? :goodvibes

Oh and we had a lovely time, I'll say more later, we've just bought the girls Wii on the way home and have just had fun playing 10 pin bowling, I lost :rotfl:

i did read the whole thing!!

i completely agree with you !! there is no excuse for the behavior of the child nor the parent.

Oh, good - I thought after I went to bed that maybe I was being harsh. But darn it - this was RUDE.

Rachel said:
okay, i just have to share. .... my ds (2) is autistic, so just recently started speaking some words. can say about 10 words now since started ot. well, he was playing with my older son (9) today and said, give me ball. this is just a huge leap for him!!!!! just had to share, i was soooo excited.

That's terrific! :goodvibes

CE: Are you getting excited!? :confused3 Wow, it's gonna be so much fun! And I do totally agree with you on the Tball sitch. Some people! :furious:

I am excited! I'm glad I wasn't being too harsh.

Are the kids ok with you leaving?

Seems like. :thumbsup2 I've done it at least once a year every year, so it's not new, except for who's staying with them.

Janet said:
Wow CE. I thought Jim got done late. His last day is the 20th, but he deosn't go back until after labor day. What are your DIsney dates again? You are only going to have a couple of days to get them ready for school?

We're there the 20-25th. School starts the 27th. Grrr.

I'm sorry  If it helps, his last day next year will be 6/5 and he starts back 8/18.

I'll be tied up this afternoon, so if I don't get another chance... BON VOYAGE MON AMI!!!

Merci! and that schedule sounds more like what I had growing up in IL. It still somehow sounds better to me - maybe just because I expect to start school in August but going all through June never occurred to me. :confused3

V - HAve a great time at the movie. I just got the "invitation" for Jimmy's graduation and I have to bring a dish for the picnic afterwards. They are 4, this isn't even preK...its freaking daycare... :sad2:

Ugh, sorry. At least being in public school kg, we don't have any ceremonies. :thumbsup2

Thansk! LOL, I had to bring "meat" for Leo's picnic today. And they infomred us YESTERDAY that the kids can't attend the picnic without a parent. Good thing his dad doesn't work. :rotfl2:
Yeah, good thing... ;) :rotfl2:

Nah... just getting her blood circulating good.:rotfl2:
Ah....thanks for the concern about my health....

Oooh...KAtt got in trouble:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
You gotta sound tougher than that! Get out those handcuffs!

My mom was a grandma to Ab at 45, but I just don't feel the need to be one in 5 years.

I do want a new puppy tho! :thumbsup2
Wow, Jo loves me even more than our Supreme Leader:cool1: :cool1: :rotfl2:
Ok...now I'm gonna get the OTHER sheriff after you!
