Oh Joshua Loved them too... and would still watch them if I would allow it.

G.I.Joe. I used to get up early to watch before school.And i did like the Smurfs.We didn't have many channels when I was little,too far out for cable.My parents were seperated the year I was 11 and I discovered nickelodeon in my mom's apartment.They got back together after 6 months and I went back to 3 channels until high school.

YOU HAD 3 channels.. I only got 1 good ( NBC) CBS was fair... ABC.. Usually too snowey and that was WITH A BOOSTER on the antenna.
If Cable was around... we lived wayyyyy to far out for that.

Fave Sat. morning cartoons? I was a big Looney Tunes fan, especially Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the Roadrunner. I was definitely NOT a Disney fan, when it came to cartoons.

I also liked the Super Friends (Aqauman was a dreamboat! ) and Scooby Doo, but Scooby was a weekday afternoon show where I lived. My after school line-up consisted of Scooby, Gilligan's Island and the Brady Bunch.

Looney Tunes Disney Cartoons ??I do not remember any of those other than the cartoon Movies....
Never saw Brady Bunch, and Gilligan till I was grown. Was not on NBC I guess.

Straying way from Saturday Morning here and telling my age here
Does anybody remember Sunday Night Tv... "Wonderful World of Disney" or "Disney's world of Color" ?? Followed By Wild Kingdom??

O.K so,,,,I was reading your horror stories of bad Moms...I`m going to put on my flame retardent suit now!!
Ben was invited to a bowling party for last Sun. I left a message he would be going. Turns out I had to work Sun. so I left the 2 boys home, brought Annie to my friends. I drive Ben to school on Tuesday, and guess whos waiting outside for Siggies for a petition! The b-day boys Mom!! "Where was Ben on Sunday?" uh,,,sorry..had to work.. I also wispered to her that Ben didnt know he missed Nics party..o-well...she has promised me to do a Pampered Chef party with me, but never did..

I have also been known to double buckle in the Jeep. and let Ben ride his bike around the neighborhood, alone...

Carrie: You did good on the ABC's! And no flames here! We are all doing the job the best we can. Also, no one knows your particular situation. You may live in a quiet community, your kids may be older, etc etc.

No judgement passed here.

And anyway, you know your kids best. My Dsons are not like any other kids I know. I imagine other moms might feel that way too about their kids?...

Can you explain to me why Wonder Woman would get in her invisible plane but we could still see her??? That drove me crazy as a kid.

Cartoons? I was latch key, big time, so I watched it ALL. I started my day with Hanna Barbara, went to school, came home to The Electric Company, and then caught whatever else was on until my mother got home from work. Anyone remember Land of the Lost?

Actually the Jeep is a 4 seater..so we take Steves car when we all go out as a family. but sometime I do have an extra in the Jeep foe driving home or to the beach..I dont like to do it, because the top is down and its obvious we have an extra and I dont want to get in trouble...
