Well bringing out the house turned into a water fight between me, Jim and Jimmy.

I was melting out there. I just kept telling myself.. "It's practice for Disney...It's practice for Disney"

It's my great nephews but my ex will probably be there and well I'd rather not!! but then I feel bad for DN !! Decisions !! They understand why I don't go and would actually rather I went !! an d that includes ex ( not really) DSISIL !!!Had to differentiate between DSIL !!

Was it officially "The Fockers aren't cooking" Night? We ordered Chinese food. KCs idea (big shocker). I ate a few bites and put it away for later. I'm so bored I wanna cry LOL. KC is watching some weird video podcasts and I am sitting in silence.

Tomorrow is the big shin dig - my bro's bday is the 2nd, mine's today and Waldo is tomorrow, so the whole family will go out to a nice dinner.

Today we are having a cookout. This will be a challenge as my back doors are still shattered! But, I'm going to the market in a minute to get last minute foods. We're doing a burger bar...burgers with all kinds of toppings! Yummy.

Garage sale is going pretty well, considering the heat. Made about $125 so far I think the heat is keeping alot of peoplein today

but its going to be 91 tomorrow which will feel really good, the bummer is with all the rain and cold air the pool is going to be freezing!! its nice and clean too..

Janet I hope your garage sale goes well. We decided to postpone ours. The thought of lugging all that stuff out of the garage and into the driveway only to have no one show because it's 98 degrees... So we'll hope for cooler temps in two weeks. Of course, we still had one woman ring our doorbell at 7:30 last night asking if we had household items or jewelry for sale

Hi Kate! Looks like we're in for some warm weather here too!

I am about to take a trashcan to Sara's room. She has not cleaned it for 3 weeks. She has been grounded for a week and lost her allowance for the past 2 weeks and she just does not care.
So I am probably going to take some drastic measures.

Katt, I've done that with Maddie and Evan. I set the timer for 30 mins and whatever doesn't get cleaned up goes in the "box" and into the garage. They "lose" those toys for a week. Sometimes it works, sometimes... not so much
10 more days??!! Yay!!!

Hi Dawn! Got nothing really planned this weekend - dinner tonight with the crazy family then a Christening party tomorrow evening.

Today we are having a cookout. This will be a challenge as my back doors are still shattered! But, I'm going to the market in a minute to get last minute foods. We're doing a burger bar...burgers with all kinds of toppings! Yummy. I think I can have 1 sm. burger on a light bun with no cheese for 4 pts....Darn WW. Hubby has christened this diet as "NO REST TILL THE FEST...." ha ha ha
It's going to be scary hot and humid here again. I'm trying to think of it as FL prep as Katt said.

Things have slowed down. I think the heat as sent everyone scampering in for AC. It is 85 degrees @ 11:30 and it is just so supposed to get hotter

It was pixresizer, I think if you google that it comes up, but you can now also do it in photobucket, shrink the picture then save the picture to your PC to put in your avatar

Sara's Room UPDATE...

2 hours ago I went and got the new outside trash can we bought 2 days ago and brought it in the house after reminding Sara to clean her room after breakfast or I was An hour later after my reminder.. I did not say a word.. I just went outside and got the can.

I wish I had a camera rolling when I brought that can in the house
She immediately got up from the game she was playing.. and ran past me to the bedroom crying and begging me to give her 2 hours to get it done..

She knew the "Rubber had met the road "and she was about to get squished.

I am happy to report we can walk in her room now... she still has to get some things out from under her bed and clean out her closet.. but I can live with current condtions.. almost looks like I cleaned it

She and Joshua are out in the pool now.. and I think I will join them for a few minutes...

Seriously, I had DH spray for skeeters and clean out the gazeebo and stuff and then I told him, "uh, it's too hot. I will be inside.." He's thrilled.

Jo, it's our favorite couple (Bob and Peggy-otherwise known as B and P, Cyndi and Mike, Me, DH and the kiddos and our gorgeous SINGLE friend from Northern Michigan, Dave!) It's a great crowd. As the evening goes on, it will probably include Sheila and Randy from across the road and older DS's friends who never turn down free food! Teenagers!

I hope everyone is staying cool and JANET: DRINK WATER!!!!

I hope and pray our A/C and the Power holds up. Sorry your's is on the fritz TE Our house is on one unit.. it went out in July 1998 10 months after moving into our house.. AND me 40 weeks pregnant.. and NO pool .

The girls went to aeropostle to get new bathing suits and I am going to the party for a little while, this way I don't have to clean the rest of the house. Went to Target and the Dollar store and am now waiting for the call that they are ready to leave !!

We've just had a very nice Chinese meal, it's lovely now the girls are older and we can have a proper meal, even if we did chat mostly about Disney, not that I instigated that The girls have now gone to bed as Ellie has her final trampolining comp tomorrow, this is the cup that she won last year!

HI ladies. I didn't make anymore $$ since my last post, and I broke everything down about 1:30..just oculdn't take the heat anymore. I just threw everything in the garage..Jim is now out there putting everything away the way its "supposed" to be

We are just gong to try again in the fall.

I took a shower (I was not a pretty sight Now Jimmy and I are just in the living room, with the AC on HIGH, and munching some Cheese Curls. I'm Dising and he is watching Care Bears.
