Good morning, ladies. I am so stressed and nervous this morning. I am all GYNO-cized and waiting to leave in a few minutes for my appt. I'm supposed to have an internal sono followed by an appt with my doctor.
The short version of this is that I have Polycystic ovary (I say ovary b/c I only have one left now!) and endometriosis. I have progressively been having more and more pain that keeps me from being able to do my daily routine. I'm hoping they find out what the problem is and we can get a solution that I approve of. I'm tired of the pills or shots or whatever. I want it OUT! We'll see what happens, but say prayers for me that the doctor will be open-minded and will agree that the surgery will be the best option for me. No more bandaids!

I had a total Hsterectomy 3 years ago! I still get those bad pap smears !! Go figure ! Last time I had to go each month for the doc to insert some medication you know where!!

No I never did, did I? To make a long story short, my inlaws are freakin' crazy!!! I'm not talking annoying crazy, I'm talking straight jacket, padded room crazy!!!

ACK!!!! No!! Evan's been asking for a baby brother and we've been telling him "No way, kid", so he decided he's just going to tell everyone I am pregnant and hope for the best.

So, I'm home and awake now. The appt went well. The sono showed a cyst on my one ovary, which explains a bit of the pain. The Dr. thinks that the rest of my trouble is my Endometriosis coming back. She told me there were three treatments and one was a hysterectomy. So, I was happy with that. The lady is supposed to call to schedule it tomorrow. The plan is to do it ASAP, and definately by mid-July. I want to be done recovering by the time mid-August comes since we have so many activites starting then.

So, I'm happy that we're finally at this point, but a tad nervous to go through it all.

K's working late, so I need to get the kids in bed. We'll be gone all morning tomorrow, but I'll try to keep up. Thanks for the hugs.

Asfor the hysterectomy I was back to work in 5 weeks! Biggest tip .. Move after surgery and I don't mean location! But even if it hurts a lot move around, you heal better and quicker if you move around. Don't overdo but don't lay around groaning , you can walk and groan!!
