Good morning, ladies. I am so stressed and nervous this morning. I am all GYNO-cized and waiting to leave in a few minutes for my appt. I'm supposed to have an internal sono followed by an appt with my doctor.
The short version of this is that I have Polycystic ovary (I say ovary b/c I only have one left now!) and endometriosis. I have progressively been having more and more pain that keeps me from being able to do my daily routine. I'm hoping they find out what the problem is and we can get a solution that I approve of. I'm tired of the pills or shots or whatever. I want it OUT! We'll see what happens, but say prayers for me that the doctor will be open-minded and will agree that the surgery will be the best option for me. No more bandaids!

Morning everyone! I took some put you to sleep cold meds last night and slept all night. Still feeling yucky, but no where near as bad. I haven't gone to the doctor (except the gyno), since I just keep getting colds. Wonder if it from being in my ds school a lot?


Jo- Poor Ellie. I would be totally bummed too. Life's disappointments are great learning lessons.

Miz Diz- You had a garage sale the weekend before you were heading to WDW? Wow you are good! I'd be to excited to sleep too.

I hear you! Been there last week. Did the icky internal thing. The bummer is, it hurts when they go in the side with the problems (least did for me). I can't imagine that if you have tried all of the things to "quiet" down the ovary, they should be willing and ready to operate. today. I'll be thinking about you!

Oh, yeah, it's going to hurt like heck. It already hurts to "trampoline" as it is. (I wasn't around fo rthe trampoline thing. Did I use it appropriately? ) I mean surely she can't ignore the whole doubled over in pain all the time thing. What's weird is most of the stabbing pain is on the side where I haven't got an ovary (lost it on a previous surgery). What's that all about?

I was seeking medical attention for all this 2 years ago when my OB/GYN retired and then we moved out of town. I've had to start all over with a new doctor and I hope she'll take me seriously.

I must have had things priced right because only 3 people tried to bargain with us and that was at the very end. I have 1 large piece of furniture that did not sell. I think I'll donate it somewhere. It is a tv armoir and in excellent cond. We paid about $800 for it, but I redid our bedroom and now we have a flat screen tv.

I priced everything yesterday and except for thef few BIG things we have Everything was priced $5.00 and under. The things priced more that that are the stroller/traveling system, the high chair. the crib, 2 car seats, a bread machine, a Gevalia Coffee Pot, and the hutch from my dining room. THose are the only things i can think of right now, but there is more. I kept everything cheap becasue i WANT IT OUT OF MY HOUSE

Jo, I feel for Ellie, my first gymnastics competition I was competing in the vault jump, well I got so nervous that when I ran up to the spring board I tripped. So I can imagine how she felt. I think you are making the right decision taking her out of the lessons if she is not progressing after a year and the coach doesn't sound very supportive.

Just got home a few hours from Victoria garden. That place it freakin' awesome!! All the great stores are there.... COACH, Guess, Lucky, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn.... I was in heaven!!

Tuesday afternoon, we are leaving for WDW. I am making dd3 pirate shorts because I promised her a month ago. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. I might attempt to make some spiral mickey shirts. I also need to pack and clean the house.

I know, she's not much of a coach, too interested in a certain few kids including her own DD And it was Ellies choice, she still does Choir, Brownies, dancing (ballet, disco, tap) so she'll still be busy especially if she gets through the Cathedral Singers audition in September!

All of the extracurricular stuff gets expensive. ds plays soccer and wants to play baseball. We told him he has to pick one or the other - can't do both at the same time because too time consuming and expensive. We offered him to play soccer in the fall, baseball in spring or vice versa. So far, he is sticking with soccer. He wants to try out for the traveling Academy team and I think he would make it, but the fees are $1000/year, plus we would have to travel. So we told him he can't try out this year. We'll wait and see if he is still interested when he is a little older.

Yep I think you used it right I know it's not easy but try and relax, I had a cyst on my ovary a few years ago which was the size of an orange apparently, they only found it on a scan and luckily it went away, what is it with me and cysts?

OK thought it was time for a bit of golf chat, T don't switch off I went and played a few holes on my own today, Jess went back to school today and DH and Ellie went for a bike ride, so I tried out my new club and wow it went a mile It was superb, several men saw how far I hit it and were very impressed Anyway I did 6 holes when the heavens opened so I walked in and it hasn't stopped raining since

Oh and I just phoned the window people and asked if they would drop their price, they knocked $500 off so I've said yes

Well, today isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. But when there is no active city budget from which to plan from it makes life a little easier

NOT as a productive day for house cleaning as I had hoped for. Got a call from the Dr. Office.. I am anemic.. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN... So now.. I have to take a supplement.. DAILY.. UGH I HATE PILLS.. not a big fan of red meat. I am just getting used to a "restless -leg pill".. my Dr. added a pill to regulate my thyroid.. last week.. I actually had to count the pills this morning to see if I had taken it yet.. Now another Pill.. every day.

Got your PM Jo.. I thought it was Jodi.. but with our "dis-names" you can never be sure.

Can we offically assign this as NO DRAMA WEEK.. I do not want any.. now if you guys need some Drama....I'll give you some of mine.

And You guys wonder WHY ...I do not have my Disney trip planned down to when we can go to the bathroom. The ADR's are MORE planning than we usually do.
We decide What park to go to each day.. based on how we feel or what mood we are in.. then just walk.

Hello everyone else. (Uh, except Jo and Janet cuz they laughed at me being afraid of sharks.... )

Spent the morning working at the school library, per my usual Monday routine. Then came home and stong-armed my Dh into going out for a salad at the cafe for lunch! Just got back. Now I'm going to catch up on the DIS and my email. And possibly go through my TONS of books to see what I want to donate, sell, etc. The books were the only thing I totally avoided for the sale. I didn't want to waste alot of time doing that when there was SO much other stuff to go through. We have a serious book problem here! I could have spent 2 weeks JUST going through those!

I hope you are all having a good day..............Oh! ok, Janet and Jo too! My trip is in 19 days. I still have to find a new swimsuit (UGH) and book the para-sailing thing for my DH at the CR for Father's Day.

OMG, Mel you have to see all the books we have for our garage sale. I marked all the paperbacks 25 cents each or 5 for $1.00. Hard backs are marked 50 cents a piece. I want them out of my house, can you tell.....What ever doesn't sell I will donate to the library. Kids books that don't see I will give to Jimmy's school. The same with unsold DVD's and videos. Willeither give to the library or to Jimmy's school.

Over here we have bottle banks (place to recycle glass) and often next to them we have book/dvd/cd banks where you can recycle them and they go to charity

I`ve been busy today getting everything together for the chicks that should be coming on Wed! they will be 1 day old! my babies are hatching at a hatchery somewhere! they will be in the house for a few weeks with a heat lamp. until they are strong enough to go outside. they wont go in with the Chickens for a long while. One of the Hens has been sitting on 5 eggs. she decided she had enough and gave up today..shes done this once before..and it was a waste of eggs...so this time I moved her and the eggs into the Rabbit Hutch..(no rabbit) she was soooo mad!! but shes sitting on them again! so more chicks hopefully around June 20th...thats the day she was hatched last year...kinda funny....
