I can tell you're excited :rotfl2: Check out this link HERE

Well, there you go! :lmao: I was supposed to go 17 June (see, I'm even doing British dates for you! :goodvibes) but that was the Field Day at the school. The boys went last week. ;)
Hope it goes well!

We ended up at my Aunt's house on the 4th for a pool party and BBQ. Andy's friend supplied us with some really awesome fireworks and we had a blast, until the cops showed up and busted us.:rolleyes1 There were some kids across the street with similar fireworks and they weren't fast enough to get away from the po-po, so they got busted. All our kids rans like good Mexicans and avoided any warning or fines.:lmao: Luckily the kids across didn't go to the clink or anything. We tangled with some cool cops.:cool2:
Oh T :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hi Slate and MrsK :wave2:

:wave2: Hello!

2. It figures they will be there when I am there. That will be the group that I am constantly trying to get around becasue they are stopped in the middle of the walkway reading the map:eek::lmao:

Oh no those people

Hi Fockers!

I've been absent, mostly due to the 4th of July festivities and finishing of the Twilight Series. Man, I'm bummed that it's over. :sad1: I do hope she gets her but moving and starts writing from Edward's perspective. Hopeful thinking.

Am I going to get kicked off the thread if I admit I have never read Twilight book or seen the movie? I am sorry
beggingpleasesmiley.gif
forgive me .

- I have my rescheduled dentist appointment late this afternoon and our playgroup is meeting here tomorrow, so I have to both clean and shop. Thankfully, both boys decided to go with him and he took the dog, so I can do all my stuff without the kids, which is much easier. ;)

Isn't that nice, no one there to distract you and you get to get everything done, that is great!

I can't wait for vacation! :cloud9:

:lmao::lmao: Oh that made me giggle, you are so funny.

I hope your Mom gets better soon.

Our city's fireworks were last night, we watched from our balcony. I was sooooo bored. I asked Bill if I could turn on the Wishes soundtrack to just keep me watching, he looked at me like I was weird or something :rotfl:. Our dog Ace actually watched the fireworks this year without freaking out, so it was a good night.

This week is a little busy, Bill has a quiz, a mid term, and a presentation for class. We have to get a quote together for the website his chiropractor wants us to build for him, etc.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

That is a hoot! Did you do it? Did it help?

BTW- I just read them, so no your fine! But they are really good!

Hi everyone!!!

KAT and KC did go to Coney Island on the 4th. Then they just chilled at home.

DEB was battling cakes instead of just baking them on the 4th.

ROSIE had a good time at the local park.

JO only got to see Em for a little while. She and David started dating 20 years ago.

V has shaped up with the Wii.

JANET had a family dinner for 20.

MIZ D and family had a great time at Wolf Lodge.

MEL and family had a great weekend with some great ribs. She will be Bob-less again.

LORI also had a good weekend.

JV had a good weekend. She finished the Twilight series and is now depressed.

CE is exhausted from the weekend and needs to finish cleaning.

T’s celebration involved the Popo.

MrsKS was wishing for "Wishes" during her town fireworks.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm glad everybody had a good weekend!

Yeah about the being home instead of work makes the house dirtier. :thumbsup2 With Doug home all week, the house was a wreck. Plus, since we don't have the patio in yet, every time it rains the dogs track in because apparently Doug can't take them out on a leash. :sad2: So I've been cleaning carpets and the kitchen floor. The bathrooms are all that is left. I'll get them tomorrow.

I've got an eye exam in the morning. Then I plan on getting some lunch somewhere before I head back home. I've got lots of little projects that need done around the house. Maybe I can put a dent in them in the afternoon.

Gotta run. I'm hungry and have no clue what I'm going to cook.

Have a good evening!!!!

Well, it LOOKS OK. ;)

Am I going to get kicked off the thread if I admit I have never read Twilight book or seen the movie? I am sorry.

Me neither, and I like vampire books as a rule.

Yes, indeed!

Hope you feel nice and productive tomorrow without going overboard! :)

Yak & Yeti serves these with a peanut sauce. Pretty good and they don't taste like prawns. :thumbsup2

OK... ;)

My dentist appointment went well, and then I went to the grocery store.

But I did stop by and pick up the Wii Active. :thumbsup2 You guys have convinced me.

Hi Fockers!

Hi Jen :wave:

It's tough. I am going to sign up to substitute - I made the call on Thursday and just have to go in for the application. We'll see. It makes me very nervous in some regards, but I think I need to do something.

What's good about subbing is that you can tell them no if you have to do something else that day:thumbsup2

You were very young. ;) D & I started dating in 1995, though we didn't get married until 2000 - we're not that far behind you.

Jim and I started dating in 1996 and were married in 2000. Oooh, thanks for the reminder, our anniversary is next week;)

We were seriously only home and awake for about 2 hours a day for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was a great weekend, but I'm done. :faint: We didn't get back last night until nearly 11:00 - we ended up having another family with boy twins (who were in the boys' classes and baseball team, etc.) come with us, and we wound up eating dinner on the lake, so by the time we got to the marina, it was really, really dark, which made putting the boat away much harder, and so forth.

Sounds like a good time was had by all:thumbsup2

I know, 16, we married in 1995 when I was 22 and D 23!

Boy, I am old:sad2:

Hi diddly ho, Fockers!

Nope, I haven't either:rolleyes1

Is Bill not feeling well that he would even question this:confused3

==========================

So I ditiched work early and went hung out with my dad, my aunt and my cousin at Philadelphia Park (Race Track & Casino). Bet on a couple of races, played some poker machines lost money and came home! We had a great time though. Last race I always put $5.00 on the longest shot. In this case it was a horse whose colors were LIME GREEN and it went of at 45-1. That darn horse led the race until the last two furloughs:headache: If he had held on I would have won $250.00:sad2:

Oh well, we had fun drinking beer, eating hot dogs, and hanging out.

Mom left this morning and called dad about 4:30 to tell us that she was in South Carolina. I don't know where or I'd have Kate go check on her;) Dad leaves tomorrow morning. THen we will see them again in a month:yay:

Off to get in the pool with Jimmy. Have a good night everyone!:goodvibes

Back from slaving for Walt. And slaving I do, it's like being in hades in that darn stock room. I sweat like a ***** in church.

Today my back is not too happy that I worked. I didn't do anything different than the other days but i'm having trouble getting around now.

BUT

Tomorrow is Traditions! I can't wait to take it (except for the be-in-at-8am part). Afterwards I plan to speak to the manager who gives the class and see if there is something I can do about my back. I at least need to let them know about it. I'm kinda upset about that but it has to be done...

Esp. since I am already planning an awesome surprise trip for mine and KC's 5th anniversary.

Anywho I need to eat and go and hit the bed, I am getting up at 5:30 to be ready and on time. Night all.

Hi everyone. Sorry I didn't quote. Just feelin' lazy. :rotfl:

First, Jo, NotBob and I have been dating since 1988 and married since 1992. Does that make us the winners???? LOL :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Kat: Sorry about your back. I hope that they can work with you. :confused3

T: You crack me up! :laughing: Hope TE is feeling better soon.

V: AWESOME job on the weight loss. You've been busting your butt!!!

:wave2: to everyone else. I am sorry I am not quoting. It makes me feel like such a slacker!!!

I'm sad that NotBob has left town again. Not that it's a terribly long trip (he's home again on Thurs) but that he'll only be here for about 12 hours before he leaves for Japan. I really hope that this is the last trip for a while. I'm not used to THIS much travel. A little is ok, right CE? :rotfl:

We went to the diner for dinner. I didn't have the heart, or energy, to cook dinner tonight. It was good and cheap. Two of my favorites!

Tomorrow I have to bring Gus in to have his ears checked. He's complaining that they hurt. Then to swim lessons if they're ok. Then home for a bit, and then out to tennis with SD at 6:30 pm. At least we'll be busy the next few weeks.

Hope you are all well.
MEL:banana:

Hi Fockers! Wow...twice in two days I've been on. Hopefully I can keep it up.

LOL me too!!!

I think you can read Midnight Sun on her website since it was leaked. Where's Kat, I know she had the link. I have a friend who read Host and she said it was Meh (to quote Kat)

CE: work is good, still not used to the 5 day thing and when I get home I unwind by watching TV or going to the gym and don't feel like doing anything else...hence my absence from TFW.

T: too funny about the 4th of July shananigans. :lmao:

Kat: :hug:on your back.

Mel! I see your light! :magnify:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not much, had a pretty relaxing day at work. It's good to be in charge for the day and get paid to do nothing. :p
I was looking at possibly renting DVC points for possible August trip, then saw that there's a deal at the Buena Vista suites and their heavenly beds :cloud9:, plus Disney has passoholer discounts. Ah decisons, decisions. :rolleyes: Gotta talk with my friends to see what they prefer and what we can afford. :guilty:
Have a good night everyone!
Hmmmm. What a coincidence, Z. I just looked at flights for Aug and it was $120 round trip, non-stop.
:idea::dance3::dance3::dance3::idea:
Good morning friends!
I have been reading (mostly) but haven't had a lot of time to post let alone quote. I'll just give everyone one of these :hug:
Took the kids to karate last night after taking a month long break. He is changing affiliations again and I haven't even gotten the old patches sewed on. So aggravating.
Today I am only taking a half day off. They are bringing in the one person they are interviewing for my manager's job. So I am going in around lunch to meet him.
Oh and Chi and Omicron had a friend each stay the night with them last night so we have 7 kids in teh house. One more and you could call me Kate :laughing:
Well, the Universal trip is official--7/30-8/4, which I hope means I'm avoiding hurricanes. :banana::banana: I'm currently booked at RPR.
I can't. I'm just dreaming..... :sad2:
Mel:banana:
(But I wish I could...)
Me too!:hug:
Good Morning All !! I am VERY tired aftera 19 hour day!! Kristel I need an update !!!!!
========================================
Good Morning Fockers. Hope everyone has a great day. The weather here is beautiful. THe moves are supposed to be done today and by the end of the week my work life will be back normal...well as normal as things are around here.
Get this one though. Our contract was up July 1st. We agreed not to strike (our union not us in particular becasue my shop can't strike--we are like the cops:cool2:) anyway the mayor announces yesterday that he has put a hold on all step increases and longevity increases in order to save money. Guess who was due a step increase...NEXT WEEK:mad: The union is fighting it becasue we agreed to work under the old Collective Barganing agreement and the step and longevity increases are in that contract. We'll see what happens.
BBL to check in with you all:goodvibes
