WHen is Jess's B-Day?

I think she said Thursday. ;)

Hope you find it!

I think it has to be there. We would have noticed it flying out, and I trust that no one gets into the boat while we're not there. The thing is that they put it in a big shed on a rack with a forklift, so I can't exactly call and have them check, you know? :rotfl:

Sleeping arrangements sound reasonable to me:thumbsup2

Oh, good. Does anyone want a set or two of twin sheets once we're back? :rotfl:

It's Monday - let the work insanity begin:headache: I am back to covering 2 units for this week. I have a headache and my back hurts, both of which I think are from stress:sad2:

I'm sorry, hon.

Happy Monday Fockers!

So I see Mel is weak and going to WDW. I think I just miss you (and I guess Dawn too).

Good for you for going!

CE - good lick fiding the camera

V - I think I may be feeling a bit sorry for you, in the World with T and LL, two people that are obviously way more organized than you;)

LY/MI

Though I love your idea of your own Owner's Locker:lmao:

Janet - hope work goes better than you thought

Jo - Did I miss David's birthday, send him my best (that would not include an ax;))

*******************

So glad I called right at the 90 day mark for my ADR's:rolleyes: With the online system, I only have one left of the original ones. The online system is like a video game, especially going during free dining. I find my self searching just for the heck of it to see what's there. When I find one it's like sssssccccoooooooorrrrrrrrreeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sick and need help!:rotfl2:

just checking in! i tried to skim back a few quickly.

so, i'm a little lost now.. i know rosie and jo are going to wdw in sept. are you going in sept too kristel? and dawn, mel what are your dates in sept??

busy, busy... thought i would get back to regular posting, but maybe next week.

hope everyone has a great week.

My kids are not allowed to get any new toys for an unspecified amount of time.

Most of what I bought is for my so to be arriving nephew. The Loud Children only got one toy each.

So sorry you missed the thread. I still can't believe it was completely removed....I guess the comments were getting a little dicey although there was some educational value as well.

Hi everyone!

Back from the lake. I'm already exhausted and Gus has a friend over so my night's just starting.....unfortunately. :sad2:

CE: I know! It's impossible to remember if he's the day before me? Or the day after? And what time is it?!? Ugh!

Janet: No, no time for Tokyo Disney. However, he'll have to go every 6 months so eventually.....

********************

Just poppin in to say HI! :wave2:
I have to get SD off the couch and out to mow the lawn. He's being very lazy and driving me nuts. :headache:

Oh, I forgot Rachel.....
Dawn and I are there, Jo is there and we miss Kristel by two days I think. Don't know who else....

MEL

We watched Parent Trap last night .. in the part where Annie says to her Dad who is trying to tell her he is marrying THAT girl and Annie says she always wanted an "Older sister " Kyle pipes up that he wants a brother and he wants him to be a WHOLE BROTHER:lmao:( his sisters are half sisters !!!) I got a kick outta that!!:rotfl2:
:lmao:
Kyle cracks me up! So sweet.
Wow. Do they get out early? Jimmy doesn't go back until the Tuesday after labor day, but he's not done until June 17th.

Their last day is always the Fri before Memorial Day, although for the 09/10 year the last day is May 30. They are also getting the entire week of Thanksgiving off, when they usually get Wed-Fri off.

Dudes. I'm fried. :guilty:

It's so hot here - we've been in the pool most of the day, but between the sun and the water, I'm exhausted. And hungry. Am I the only one whose appetite kicks in when it's hot?? :confused3

I'm on a trip planning role! I'm all laminated. Ahem. :teeth:

Yay, me! :cheer2:

Gotta start dinner soon, BBL! :flower3:

I think she said Thursday. ;)

Doh:headache:

I'm sorry, hon.

Thanks:goodvibes

Janet - hope work goes better than you thought

At this point it can't get any worse!:sad2:

Jo - Did I miss David's birthday, send him my best (that would not include an ax;))

Ugh, that stinks!

That's not too bad!

I;m happy to say that we have only had our AC on 2 days so far :yay:

I'm on a trip planning role! I'm all laminated. Ahem. :teeth: [/QUOTE[

:woohoo: Me too, except now I have to pause the Disney planning and plan our weekend in Lancaster!

-------------------------

Was out with the boys and the neighbors on the back porch chatting. Cam in cause the stinking skeeters got me. Jimmy is now watching Care Bears:confused3 and I am going to jump in the shower. Have a good night everyone. I will probably be back later in between Disney and Lancaster planning.

Unlike LL, I have no binder. I have a pile of papers and post-its on the floor next to my bedroom armchair. And a laundry basket full of miscellaneous small items I want to bring. I'm tempted to make my trunk one big Owner's Locker by just tossing the basket, another basket full of clothes, some groceries and the pile of paper in and hitting the road.

:rotfl2: I thought you had a plastic bin all set from last year for your locker? No?

My quest this trip is to decorate my locker. We can put anything we want on it, stickers, pictures, etc...the lockers are ours to keep anyway at the end, but you give your locker a name (which is new - mine is Mouse Gear. Not original, I know, but I've come up with a new name...heh heh and just need to run it up the OL flagpole) and I have done that, I've set up the delivery and pickup dates and just need to pick up a few odds and ends that need to be replaced from our last trip.

Sadly, I don't think I'll be laminating anything.

Yet.

I did see an Office Cheapo nearby so I could do it there. Not the same as having my own stuff.

I miss my stuff...

How's my litte buddy Leo? You must be so thrilled he's home.

And here I am THRILLED that M's got a daycare sleepover Thursday night:yay::yay::yay::yay:

I could really use a break.

It's all Michael...all the time....

I'm worn out....

I'm weary....

I NEED A VACATION!!!

Sorry, honey. I tend to not want to eat, the hotter it gets. Which is why I'm sad the high was 74 today. :lmao:

Have a good night everyone. I will probably be back later in between Disney and Lancaster planning.

You, too!

I could really use a break.

FYI...
Mel's joining me in my PTR-iness.
Come on over.

Mel's asking eveyrone to post their favorite drink at Epcot and has generously offered to drink one of each!

Very ambious, no? ;)

I'll video her. That'll be a video I can sell copies of! :thumbsup2

A quickie to say hi ho to all of you! I am still around... just busy carting kids. TINK is in a dance camp this week, plus swimming, t-ball and baseball for ds. I feel like I should paint the volvo yellow and black. ;)

As you know, I'm dealing with crud on the parental home front. My "dad" has decided to wed the lovely person who named herself my "moms" BFF, only to take her hubby as soon as she died and pull apart our family, so we are alone. Gotta love her. ;):headache: It's sucky.

I did drink my sorrows away on Sat. night at a wine tasting party. It was an amazing evening with wines paired with delicious foods. It was an auction item at our school carnival and it was well received. I am already looking forward to it next year!

I have been keeping up on FB, but need to go back and catch up here. Be back!

I am done early. I guess I am getting into a good flow of getting up early. So much in fact I tossed and turned for like 2 hours earlier. I work 10-3 so I am heading out in about 15 min but I ma dressed and ready to go and KC is still snoring. LOL.

ANyways have a great day, chances are I am napping when I get home, esp. since tomorrow is Potter day and I plan to get up at 6:30am and make it through the midnight show- somehow![/COLOR]

I hope your day went well. Have fun at HP. We will go this Saturday.

My nephew left this past Wednesday. I miss him. He is 7 now and this is the first time I've ever kept him and he was well behaved. He is growing out of his trouble stage. Hopefully Baby Girl will grow out of hers. :rotfl2: I just know when she starts school I will be getting phone calls from her teacher.

Anyone remember me posting about the whole fence issue - with the neighbor's fence way over the property line? We never asked them to move the fence and thought we would just wait and see what happened between the neighbor next to us and them. They moved the fence about 2 weeks ago. Didn't say anything to us about it. I just heard some hammering and some people were back there moving it. We now have about 20 feet more yard, across the entire yard. We showed my bil and sis and they said that property is the same size as their backyard.

Nothing new here. I have been trying to get into sewing. I checked out a couple books from the library and signed up for a class.

Cool on the fence. Sewing can be very handy. I'm not an expert but I can so a nice hem for anything.

Today is swimming at 11, then stay for a picnic lunch at the lake with Gus' friend. Then said friend comes to spend the night. We have tennis for SD at 7:30 pm tonight.
No word from NotBob today. He's flying to some other island (don't know which) to see some customers and won't be back to Tokyo until Tuesday night(???? or was it Wednesday night????) I don't know. He's fine though.
MEL:banana:

I am sorry you aren't able to get in touch with NotBob as much as you would like.

Nipped into town this morning, got Jess a couple of little bits for her Birthday, then we did the supermarket and were going to have lunch before we went and played some golf. But we were so quick we went straight there and have just had lunch now!

Nipped. Such a neat little word. We just nipped around. Jo I am getting 1 heck of a British education from you! I like it!

GOOD morning!!! :yay: My boy is back, my boy is back, my boy is back! As always, there's some reprogramming to be done, but he came home very happy to be back and said he missed me "sooooo much!"

He's at Horse Camp this week and was very excited to see his equine buddies again. It was so very nice to start my morning with him again.

My cousin's coming for a visit next weekend, so that leaves ONE WEEKEND before the big Disney trip!

I'm so glad your little sunshine is back!!! V's world is right again! (Que the car brakes!) Except for the trip organization! :sad2:

The dog seems good now. The boat can be work, but it's getting better. At first it felt like just getting everything ready to take up was awful, but we're in a good routine now. And it's nice to relax all day on the boat. But then I do pay for it - I have a TON of stuff to do today, since I was barely in my house all weekend.

*******************************************************
We had a good day with our friends on the boat. :goodvibes I would have some pictures, but D & I both forgot the camera. Then... When we got home, D said, "Where IS the camera." After a full search, we think it pretty much HAS to be tucked away on the boat. I am hopeful, because otherwise it's just gone. Sigh. He says he took it a week ago today, when he took the boys by himself and I stayed here to clean, do the dentist, etc. I haven't seen it since - the last pictures on the computer are from the 4th - and I'm usually very quick to move them over.

They came back in the pitch dark that night, so I bet it's stuffed away in the cubby and we just didn't know it all weekend.

We all slept in a bit this morning. I don't know where I left off, but D got put back on a trip all week, so he left about 10:00. I did an Active workout and have just sent the boys outside. It's sunny and 70 - a little cool for July, but I'll take the sun, and hey, we still haven't put our AC in.

Woody is overtired and grouchy this morning , but hopefully that will settle down. I think at some point we have to go to the grocery store. Tomorrow we have playgroup somewhere else, and then all 3 of us have tennis. I may try to arrange a playdate for Wed. D's not home until late Thursday.

Mostly, though, I'm hoping for a quiet week (sorry, Jo & Dawn ;)) as we do go up to the lake for the rental house week on Sunday. I need to get ready for that, the boys have a birthday party to go to Saturday...

The rental house has us bringing our own sheets, and I have to figure out the sleeping arrangements. There are three bedrooms in the house - two have queen beds (no problem, our guest bed is a queen, so I have sheets for that.) The third has a double and a twin. We have no twin beds in my house, but 3 doubles (both kids' beds and the pullout), and then there's a "bunkhouse" that has something like 4 twin beds and two doubles.

There's the four of us, FIL & stepMIL, and BIL and futureSIL. FIL & MIL won't sleep in the queen bed together at my house, saying that they're too used to the king, so generally he sleeps in the queen and she takes the double pullout. (Don't get me started, she drives me insane...) So, I don't know if I should tell them to sleep in the bedroom that has the double and the twin, and go buy some twin sheets?

The four of us will be there from Sunday - Thursday alone, so that's no issue. But then FIL, MIL, BIL and SIL arrive Thursday night and we have three nights like that. The boys SAY that they want to sleep in the bunkhouse, but I don't know if they'll really feel comfortable with that or not. It's the best if they do - then BIL and SIL can have the other queen, MIL and FIL in the room with two beds, and the boys in the bunkhouse on the double for which I have sheets.

Does that sound reasonable? FWIW, MIL and FIL have two guest rooms, one of which has a day bed with a trundle and the other has only 2 twins, so I don't feel bad asking one of them to sleep on a twin. :rolleyes1 :lmao: (And yes, I do see the irony of her then saying my queen guest bed is too small.)

I hope you find the camera. On the rest: :faint:

Not to much going onher just housework:eek: I actually found suplies for school from last years bargains !!! hiswas the first year we didn't run out of Filler paper !! I swear those girls supply the whole class

We watched Parent Trap last night .. in the part where Annie says to her Dad who is trying to tell her he is marrying THAT girl and Annie says she always wanted an "Older sister " Kyle pipes up that he wants a brother and he wants him to be a WHOLE BROTHER( his sisters are half sisters !!!) I got a kick outta that!!

It's Monday - let the work insanity begin:headache: I am back to covering 2 units for this week. I have a headache and my back hurts, both of which I think are from stress.

I can't wait for the weekend and our little getaway.

Kristel I though I quoted you. Can't wait to see the patio!

I'm sorry about the stress. Have a great time at Dutch Wonderland. I will get some pics as soon as it is done. They are saying the main part will be done tomorrow. It is going to storm Wednesday. I'll probably get them on here this weekend - while your gone!!!! :guilty:

busy, busy... thought i would get back to regular posting, but maybe next week.

My dates are Sept. 27 - Oct 3. I'm not doing a PTR over here because I am way too busy to duplicate it at the moment. I'm doing 80's trivia on the one that I am posting on Enchanted. The winner gets a special gift from my trip. If I decide to post one here, I'll let all of you know. It won't include the trivia though. That is a lot of work.

Most of what I bought is for my soon to be arriving nephew. The Loud Children only got one toy each.

So sorry you missed the thread. I still can't believe it was completely removed....I guess the comments were getting a little dicey although there was some educational value as well.

I wished I'd seen it. This is why I am reluctant to post a PTR/TR over here. I like to entertain. I would probably have to edit the PTR from Enchanted. Not that it is bad, but some sensitive types might deem it offensive.:rolleyes1

Dudes. I'm fried.

My appetite usually fades when I'm hot. Wow I think I just stumbled on to something. No wait, being hot and sweaty stinks. I'd rather be fat! J/K
Good job on the laminating!

#############################################################3

We are not getting the big announcement at work that we were waiting for this month. I don't know if this is good or bad. I'm leaning towards bad. They will not let us post for other positions inside the company either. So me and about 800 others are stuck waiting.

As the matter of fact I had a serious conversation with Doug about it. If they have not come to a decision about the plant site that I currently work at by September, we are cutting back drastically on everything we can.

I even told Doug to check the LP tank. If we need fuel, get it now while it is still cheap. The satellite will go. The long distance will go. (We have cells.) The books, CDs, movies, eating out will all go. The turtle will go. I can't afford to heat the pole barn all winter. No vacation fund. We are getting a half of beef from my friend this next week. That will hold us in meat for a good while. I will stock up on staples from Aldis.

If it looks like I won't have a job at the start of the new year, I will have to call a/the mortgage company to see what we can do with a refi. There is no way we can afford the payments on Doug's salary. I = 2/3 of the household income. NOT GOOD, FOCKERS. We do have a substantial savings and I would get unemployment for a while but I'm just getting in the right frame of mind for the worst to happen.

The sad thing is - none of it has to do with the economy! The pharma industry is changing and my plant is too old to be useful for the new direction of boitech! I left a great job because I thought that this would be it. I could retire in comfort. CARP!

I am really gonna woop it up at WDW with Rockie either way. That is paid for! :woohoo:

Until tomorrow friends!!!!

My boy is back, my boy is back, my boy is back!
Wooohoooo, awwww and love your owners locker idea :rotfl2:

Kyle pipes up that he wants a brother and he wants him to be a WHOLE BROTHER:lmao:( his sisters are half sisters !!!) I got a kick outta that!!:rotfl2:
Bless :rotfl2:

They have the uniforms and stuff out here too:sad2:
They've had them out for ages here and we're still in school :rotfl2:

Mel will you ever get the chance to go to Tokyo with NotBob at all?

Well the show was fantastic, poor Robin cried at one point because he lost his voice but he got over it. Ellie's solo was beautiful and it was hilarious near the end when she had to hold Robins hand, her face was a picture :rotfl2:

Today I have a golf competition for a cup, I won it last year so it would be nice to retain it but I'll just play my best and see what happens :thumbsup2

my dates in sept are 19th- 26th.

jo and rosie, i think we only overlap a day or two.

kristel, i miss you by one day :headache:

mel, dawn, not sure what your dates are.

kristel  i hope it's not the worst that you're planning for.

hi everyone. just checking in before bed.

oh, janet.. when are things going to settle down for you at work?

OK, I thought i posted:confused3

Another crazy busy day at work but lets see what I can remember.

Kristel - Can't wait to see the patio and I hope things work out at work:hug: (that's doesn't sound right, but:confused:)

Jo - Good luck at golf:thumbsup2

Hi Rachel - Hopefully in the enxt week or so I willbe only doinf 1 job instead of the 3 I am doing now.

Hi to everyone else! Hope everyone has a great day.:goodvibes

hi everyone. just checking in before bed.
Hi Rachel!

Hi to everyone else! Hope everyone has a great day.:goodvibes
Hi Janet!

Good morning Friends!
Yikes! It was a busy weekend here! First of all, Friday, after all my Xboss's rude comments, everyone left and it was just him and me. He kept saying how much he enjoyed working with me, how I brought so much to the department, bla bla bla. I thought i was going to throw up. I swear I don't understand men. I dont understand how he could be so rude then say such nice things. Bottom line, I don't believe any of the things he was saying.

Anyway. after work I picked up all the kids then stopped by the grocery store to get some things for sixflags. I didn't realize that Omicron left his shoes at my sister's house so I was in the grocery store with all 5 kids, Tau was pitching yet another of his famous fits, Delta was running around the shopping cart, and Omicron was bare footed. Yes, I was a total redneck.

Saturday we went to sixflags and I discovered I am tooooo old for wooden roller coasters. The scream machine tore me up. The kids had fun though so I guess it was worth it.

Sunday was church then home to do some laundry. Except I only did one load then fell asleep on the couch :rolleyes1

Then yesterday was Monday. First day without a boss and already issues with customers, issues with the shop floor, etc. Oh, and 1st grade orientation for Omicron was last night along with karate. Sometimes I wish I had a duplicator machine so there were two of me.

OK, the kdis are up so I need to fix breakfast.

I will only smuggle the small ones....

You have my sympathy. We've already taken a 20% pay cut. Hopefully they don't do more. The auto industry is a mess, so I just try to be thankful that he has a job. Hope things don't go TOO badly at work!

Mel will you ever get the chance to go to Tokyo with NotBob at all?
No, but then I don't really want to. :sad2:
I'm not sure I'd like it. :confused3

my dates in sept are 19th- 26th.
Dawn and I are there with our DH's from 23-26th!!!!!

OK, I thought i posted:confused3

YOU DID!
I read it.
It said that you wanted me to smuggle out a HUGE beer from the Germany pavillion. LOL

I'll put it on the list. :thumbsup2

***************
Wow. I'm so tired.
The kids were good last night. Gus and his friend are eating breakfast right now and SD is sleeping. I had to make an EARLY morning run to the grocery store because Gus' friend is allergic to EVERYTHING! We didn't have any more soy milk and he can't have eggs. That eliminates pancakes, french toast, waffles, eggs of any kind, toast, bagels, etc.
YiKES!
