Great, thanks!!!

:thumbsup2

We've been to a movie and swimming lessons. I was up very late last night making dinner for our friend Steve, who lost his wife Christmas eve. My DH is bringing it over today and needed it ready to go when he left this AM, for work. Now I'm tired and am ready for a nap. Back later to catch back up.

How is the family doing Jen:hug:

I need a nap just from reading that. Between you and Mel I am feeling very inadequate.:rolleyes1

Afternoon all !! Everything went well!!

So glad Rosie!

excuse me...pardon me...just dancing through...

:wave: Hi Kevin...long time no see!

Hi everyone! :goodvibes It's your long lost Focker just stopping by with a little gift...

AirTran $25 Vouchers

Those of you who know me, know how much I love AirTran $25 vouchers! :rotfl: I just found this today. It's a deal with the Florida Tourism site. I just used 4 for our upcoming AirTran flight in August. I already had our flight booked, but I used the vouchers for our seats. I selected the most expensive seats (Exit Row - $20 each). I will be upgrading to Business Class with our A+ credits when we check in for the flight, so I'll get back $80 in AirTran credit that I'll be able to use for up to a year. :thumbsup2

How's that for fuzzy math, V? ;)

Hope everyone is well! :grouphug:
Cheers!

:wave2: Hi Michelle. I already booked our flights or I would jump all over those vouchers!:headache:

Hello from a too exhausted to quote Focker.

Another day, another dollar from Walt. Speaking of Walt's dollars, I bought me a few things yesterday. I got a Tink mug, a WoD NYC shot glass and a CM Vynlmation (however u spell it) and now KC wants to collect them. LOL.

I work tomorrow again then I am off for 3 days! YAY!

No Potter premiere today, I was too darn tired to deal with it.

I have a bit of a dilemma...go check out my update on the TR (please) and see if you can offer some suggestions.

Anyways I'm off to the comphy chair and some tv while I wait for KC to get home. Today was his 10th day of work in a row, and he's happy gets the house to himself in the morning.

Hi Kat! Glad you will have a few days off. How far in advance do they give you your schedule?

JIm wants to see HP, and I have no interest. He will probably go on one of the Friday's he doens't have Jimmy!

So do you like it? Do you think you'll keep doing it?

Ask me tomorrow :rotfl:, but yeah, I could see sticking with it. I'm really mad at myself over the weight I've gained this year, and I definitely intend to hit this hard before BIL's wedding in 6 weeks. I know I won't lose all that I need to in that time, but if I could feel even just a little BETTER I'd be happy.

Quick question, if you had to give some money to a charity (give kids the world in Orlando) roughly how much would you give? I was thinking about $10-15 but someone else said $100 :eek:

The little stuff adds up, it sound perfectly reasonable to me. :thumbsup2

How are you getting books before they are released? I think I missed that bit of info about you.

I wrote a bunch of reviews on amazon.com for years, and about 2 years ago now they asked me to participate in their "Vine" program. We get pre-release or new release stuff for free, if we agree to review 2 out of every 3 things we get. Some of it is crap, but I've gotten some good stuff. The publishers (or manufacturers, sometimes it's not just books) give it out because we create buzz for the product, and it's cool for us because we get free stuff! :thumbsup2

Afternoon all !! Everything went well!! The surgeon as late but not to bad!! The shot to numb me is wearing off and I am feeling little twinges but nothing bad !!:thumbsup2 During th surgery the surgeon heard a noise and asked what it was !! The Tech told him it was the BP Machine ..BUT I think it was the fire alert as they had a fire drill while I was on the table !! :scared1: Thank Goodness they didn't wheel me out :worship: That would have been a tale to tell:lmao:

So I will be fine for work tomorrow I am sure !!:banana: I plan on a Dis and Disney night and any atempts to have me do anything will b met with a painful look ... Gotta get some advantage outta having your "****ie " sliced !!!!:rotfl: I see the surgeon next Thursday for th path results so keep the prayers coming for GOOD news !!!:worship:

I'm glad it went so well, and will be anxiously awaiting the results. :hug:

excuse me...pardon me...just dancing through...

Hi, Michelle! How are things going? Is Jordan gone to WDW yet?

Hi, Kat! Glad to see you, even though you're tired. :goodvibes

Oh, I forgot to say. I got to the class, and there were just four of us - and two are friends of mine, but a bit older, slower ladies, and so the pro didn't do the "kill us" drill that I was so worried about. :cool1: :lmao: I still got a good workout, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I feared.

Every time I stand up, though, my thighs complain. :rotfl:

We went swimming today. We're so wiped out!

C and A both jumped right in the deep end and swam across. I was shocked. :eek: They didn't use floaties the whole 4 hours we were swimming today! :banana:

Good Evening All!

Sorry I’ve been so darn busy.

JANET lost at the horse track. She had fun drinking and eating though. She says work should be back to normal by the end of the week. She may not get a raise due to cut-backs. I hope the union comes through for all of you!

KAT has been in the dungeon at WoD. She had to go in at 8AM on the 7th. She gets 3 days off after tomorrow. KC worked 10 in a row. She said we need to go to her PTR. She has a dilemma. I am hoping your back will be OK. Wow you guys must be making some good money now!!!!!

DEB had a house full of kids.

HEDY will be at US on 7/30. :banana:

V found the perfect laundry bag. She’s been having it rough without her little prince around. :hug: Love that bag!

CE was waiting on people to show up for a play group. They finally did. She is getting too much of a workout from the Wii and tennis. :rotfl:

MO is having shots in the other foot. She will probably need surgery this fall. I’m so sorry Mo. :hug:

ROSIE had her lump surgery. She should have results next week. :hug:

LORI is busy with school. :goodvibes

CEL BEL is busy with school and the move next week. :hug:

KICKAPOO had been DISSED by the top DISers. Sorry you are having so much trouble. I think we all need to be careful.

MrsKS loves the Dollar Tree. I love it too!

JO – Give what you can afford. They should be happy with anything with the economy the way it is. I normally give $30 a quarter to my favorite charity.

JV has started a Sookie book. :yay:

A PHIBBLES ALERT!!! :hippie:

MICHELLE swung by to say that Air Tran has $25 vouchers.

DAWN’s kids are swimming like there is nothing to it. All of them are exhausted now. :cheer2: for the sea urchins you've created.

:dance3: I won't need bi-focals for another year. That made me and my bank account happy. I've been near-sighted for several years now. especially in the right eye. I only wear glasses when I drive. My prescrption didn't change enough to warrant new glasses for that either.

Doug and his Nephew were supposed to actually start laying pavers today. I'll see how far they got when I get get home from work in the morning. I should have a completed patio soon. :woohoo:

I didn't get much done on the little projects I needed to do. It was just too darn hot by the time I got home from town. Maybe this weekend I'll do better. I don't think we have anything planned at the moment.

I hope everyone has a good Thursday.

I can't wait! :banana:

:cool1: I haven't gotten there yet, but I've been waering glasses since 7th grade. :rolleyes:

How's that for fuzzy math, V?
Muppet-like in its Fuzziness! :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Come back and play more often - we miss you! (And I'll just stalk you via email if you don't. ;) )

Ask me tomorrow :rotfl:, but yeah, I could see sticking with it. Want some encouragement and morale-boosting? I'm utterly blown away by what the Active has done for my body. I haven't lost more than a couple pounds, but my shape has completely changed for the better - and without adding bulk! That's a first for me. I think the resistance bands and unending squats and lunges are the answer to my prayers. :cheer2:

V- I think you need a gramma vacation! I hope your trip to Buffalo all works out. Are the tickets already purchased?
You mean a Gramma-FREE vacation, right?! :rotfl: Yep, tickets are already purchased and non-refundable, and accomodations and food are free. I try to pay for meals, but no one lets me up there! Despite some flakiness, they're good peeps. :goodvibes

Can I come too;)
Heck yeah! LL should really get over here more often... it's going to come as quite a surprise when 30 of us show up at her ATL apartment for Fockerfest Takes a Road Trip! :lmao:

Every time I stand up, though, my thighs complain. :rotfl:
Yep, BT/DT! :rotfl: :hug:

C and A both jumped right in the deep end and swam across. I was shocked. :eek: They didn't use floaties the whole 4 hours we were swimming today! :banana:
Hooray!!! Isn't it amazing to see it all come together?! :cheer2:

I won't need bi-focals for another year. That made me and my bank account happy.
Yay - good news! :yay:

Come back - we miss you! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning Fockers! :wave:
It's a much, much better day today. Thanks again for letting me vent here - it helped a lot. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
On top of everything else, work has been challenging and I wasn't really aware of it. Hard to explain, but some issues are just simmering under the surface and have been causing me to feel under-appreciated and taken for granted. Apparently my boss has been feeling the same way and approached me to talk about it yesterday. I think we both felt a LOT better after talking and realizing we're not alone and are in the same boat. I know I did! :goodvibes
As for the ex... I'm done wasting any more time stressing over his idiocy. A while back, I frequented a divorce discussion board and the prevailing wisdom amongst the experts and veterans there was that you should do everything possible to not depend on child support because odds are it'll go missing more often than it should. I hated hearing that. It's unfair, it violates all sorts of legalities and it's just plain ridiculous that I should work my butt off to take care of my child and not expect the other parent to pull his weight too. But it's absolutely true. And I'm sure glad I did what I could to put most of the support away in a savings account and live mostly on what I make, because that's what's paying the bills now.
And when it runs out, I'll happily let my state put him through the ringer. ;)
Anyway, I'm feeling good about things today and really need to make a dent in my trip planning. Can you believe I have NO LISTS? Not even mental ones. Yikes! :eek:
Thanks. It's gonna get ugly. City Council just got a 5 1/2% raise but they want to give us squat...uh yeah, that's going over well:headache:
:dance3: I won't need bi-focals for another year.
:yay: I wear them - I've been wearing glasses since I was 5!:sad2:
:tiptoe:
Who was that masked Focker:hug:
Come back and play more often - we miss you! (And I'll just stalk you via email if you don't. ;) )
What she said ::yes::
Oh her new neighbors will LOVE her:rolleyes1:rotfl2::rotfl2:
SO glad things are better:hug:
:faint:
V, :hug: What I don't understand is that at first my X was granted custody and I had to pay him c.s. They issued my employer a court order to take it out of my paycheck to ensure that it was paid. When I got custody reversed they didn't do the same to him and it was even the same judge. So far he has paid every month and only two or three times was he even late. But I don't understand why they didn't have it taken straight out of his paycheck like they did mine.
You are right that it could stop at any point and for that reason we don't live off the c.s. checks. It goes straight to savings to cover misc. things.
:hug: :hug: :hug:
