:rotfl2: I have a little girl that you can have too,V.Something different ,ya know.:goodvibes
All right. I have to really get moving on cleaning up. I still need to do the downstairs floors and the kitchen & bathroom counters, nothing too horrible, but it needs to be done.

I never heard back from the tennis pro at the club if he'd allow us to prorate the boys' summer lessons. It's meant to be a 7 week session, but we'll miss 4 weeks, so I would like to just pay 3/7ths. I need to call back - D & I also want a lesson this week, so... But if the boys do lessons, I need to know by 3:30 today or we'll miss 5 weeks and that's just silly. :rotfl2:

Oh, Jo? D said "whilst" yesterday. I was so proud. :goodvibes :rotfl:
So what did you hear about the lessons?
It's nearly 6pm and the window men are still here, the girls aren't happy as I said I wouldn't start dinner till they'd gone :rotfl2:
Think my kids would let me use your excuse?I don't feel like cooking.
Just taking my daily stroll to the school room... :rotfl:

The kids should be here any second. K went to get them frommy mom's this morning. I pretty much got up at 7:20, took a shower, and went back to bed un til 11:30. I guess that really wore me out! :sad2:

I need a Barbie report. Where's T?:confused3
Hi,Dawn! Take it slow...
So I decided to go over witchy poo's head and made an appointment with the VP she reports into. He was very interested and accomodating and I am going over to his office Wednesday morning at 8:30. I will be professional and non emotional, but will bury the biotch:stir: . (I let my new VP know as a heads up and she thinks its an excellant idea)

The gloves are off!

Have a good one Fockers!
popcorn:: This could get interestingpopcorn::
DAWN!!!!! Glad to see you're up and about! I am going to AG Place on Wednesday. We leave tomorrow afternoon though to make the drive up, so we don't have to do it all in one day. I'm planning on taking lots and lots of pics and posting a mini-TR when I get home (probably sometime on Thursday). DD7 got a "just like you" doll for her birthday in May. Have you see Kit yet? Once you're up for it, you should take the girls. We haven't seen it yet, but it's in the plan. I've read that it's really a great movie!

We're headed out to run a few errands now. I've been working all morning (billing for our home business). I've still got to start cleaning as well! :scared1:
I can't wait to hear all about it.We are an AG house here.started with Bitty babies and now have two American Girl dolls.

Rosie we just got a Wii, obviously can't help with the price but we bought the console (which comes with the game Wii Sports) we then bought an extra nunchuck (like a remote thing) and also a game called Wii Play which includes a FREE controller. We also bought a docking station which is a recharger for the controllers so you don't have to keep buying batteries :thumbsup2 TBH I wouldn't buy any other games until the kids give you an idea of what type they like!

Well the men didn't leave till after 7pm but upstairs is all done, I then spent half an hour hoovering (vacuuming) and putting curtains back up. Ellie and I did the scream test, we screamed whilst David stood outside and he could barely hear us :thumbsup2 I can really tell the kids off now without the neighbours hearing ;) :rotfl2:

I'm playing in a golf comp tomorrow, it's a cup and it's due to rain again :headache: We've just had a big thunder and lightening storm so I don't want that tomorrow :eek:

We bought the same Wii stuff Jo did minus the charger and it cost $350.The games are $40-60 each.
Had a good :rotfl2: at you screaming and David outside.:rotfl:

````````````````````````````````
Rachel had her first swimming lesson this morning and she did really well.She is learning to go to the bottom of the shallow water and picking up things from the bottom and diving in the deep end.She has a problem going to the bottom for the rings-she floats really well.:rolleyes1
I am still going through my Florida pictures,alot didn't come out well.My camera is acting up.:scared: I liked this one of Rachel at the pool here in town.
Where did you get them at I checked Target & Walmart and the console with1 controller was $250 both places ! But they didn't have any !!!
I actually got the game system with one controller at WalMart before Christmas.Then later found the controller with Wii play at another WalMart.You probably need to call around and keep calling until someone gets a shipment in.
Jo - the Wii Fit is a lot of fun and gets you moving. Who knew that virtual hula hooping could be such a workout! :lmao:
How do I find one? I supposed I could just wait till I'm lucky, or is it the 4th of July - all are gone? Hmm?:scared:
I can really tell the kids off now without the neighbours hearing ;) :rotfl2:
And really that is the most important thing. :lmao: Whenever Alek comes over to visit mom is always telling us off as we get really loud and rowdy over our Disney Scene It games and she doesn't want the neighbours to hear our "foul language". :rotfl:
How do I find one? I supposed I could just wait till I'm lucky, or is it the 4th of July - all are gone? Hmm?:scared:
Good luck to all who are searching for Wii's! They are still very much in demand up here and are rarely in stock. Your best bet is to start looking now and keep checking with the stores constantly. They sell out quickly when they get shipments in. Same with the Wii Fit, it is very in demand right now and you are lucky if you find a copy. Basically it is all luck and hounding the stores constantly to see if they have come in. Some places may offer a waiting list. :confused3
So what did you hear about the lessons?
Nothing, nada, zilch. :headache: I can't get too upset with him as he is a tennis teacher and is very rarely in the actual office where I leave the phone messages, but... You'd think they'd want my money! :) Hopefully at least D & I can get set up for one last private lesson this week. I am not so worried about the boys - we can start up again in Sept. with no problem. I'd just kind of like to do the 4 weeks that we can, if we could, if that makes any sense. :laughing:
Amy said:
Well, it's not a bad problem to have, I guess! :lmao:
Hmmm, thought I quoted Janet. At any rate, yup, he's lived with me for HOW long now? Doesn't he know to make sure I'm paying attention BEFORE he starts talking? :rotfl:
Really. Jim and I have been together 12 years this coming November. You'd think he'd know this about me by now:headache:
Rosie :rotfl: For the third time, yes she's arrived :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Don't you start :mad: Or I'll shop you about the pirate video :rolleyes1 ;) :rotfl2:
Who me:angel:
Wow. Ok, I cleaned the house. And got the tire fixed. No rim damage (thank goodness!) and they put the same kind of tire on for $122. Not as bad as I feared, but bad anyway as we have just gotten home from vacation and it's not really the time for unexpected repair bills!
The weather is YUCK. Rainy and thundering. My ds10 has a playdate at the lake tomorrow at 10 am. Don't think so.....
Going to finish a load of laundry and then getting a drink and sitting on the couch. I earned it!!! :thumbsup2
How you guys doing? How's V doing with all the peace and quiet? Where in the H-E-Double Hockey Stix is G-luv?
I need my flat Jen. And Jodi..............hellooooooooooooooooo...........calling flat Jodi............
Morning (well, it's afternoon now) LL! Did you make it on time? :)
Naaaahhh...I was about 15 minutes late. I don't know how I managed to get showered, put my game face on, get me and Michael dressed, drop him off at daycare and get across town in less than an hour!!
See? It's all about droppin' it in drive and flooring it!! :woohoo:
So I decided to go over witchy poo's head and made an appointment with the VP she reports into. He was very interested and accomodating and I am going over to his office Wednesday morning at 8:30. The gloves are off!
Oooohhh...I'm expecting a full BR (Beeeyotch Report!) by lunchtime on Wednesday!!
Ok I just looked it up. Ridley Pearson. The 2nd one comes out Aug 26th according to Barnes and Noble dot com. I am def gonna have to pick them up!
Ooooh...well, at least I got the Ridley part right. ;) Go figure...remembering a name like that...
So who in the world is Ridley Scott then? Isn't that a real person?:confused3
I'm bummed it doesn't come out till the 26th...I was hoping for a new beach read...
LL - Did Michael's behavior get any better over the weekend?
A little bit...he's kissing my butt today though..."Mommy you look really pretty today", "Mommy I really like your hair that way", "No! I want Mommy to tuck me in"...He must be up to something...:cool2:
Just ordered Kingdom Keepers, I'm going to save it for the plane :thumbsup2 The RRP over here is $12 and I got it for $9.40 which included P&P :thumbsup2
You know, I originally bought the book thinking it was something Michael and I could read for a bedtime story - a few pages a night or something, but as soon as he saw it had no pictures he wanted nothing to do with it. But I couldn't put it down...his loss!
I think he's written some books that have something to do with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, too, but don't quote me...
Rosie :rotfl: For the third time, yes she's arrived
Geeze...must you yell? :eek:What will the neighbors think?? Maybe she asked again because she couldn't understand your accent??:confused3
:rotfl2:
I then spent half an hour hoovering (vacuuming)
Sorry - that just makes me giggle...but I'm immature like that...:rolleyes:
I spent some time on Sunday....Dyson-ing...
Nope...doesn't sound as good as hoovering...
Ellie and I did the scream test, we screamed whilst David stood outside and he could barely hear us :thumbsup2 I can really tell the kids off now without the neighbours hearing ;) :rotfl2:
Woo Hoo...there's something to be said for quality craftsmanship!!
I'm playing in a golf comp tomorrow, it's a cup and it's due to rain again :headache: We've just had a big thunder and lightening storm so I don't want that tomorrow :eek:
Good luck tomorrow...hope you don't get rained out! Fingers crossed for you!
Come and have one!I am having a drink myself.The muffins don't exactly look like the picture on the internet.:confused3 Hopefully they taste good,I am waiting on Peyton to come in.He took Rachel otside to play and I am not interrupting my quiet.She is never quiet.
I asked her preschool teacher a few weeks ago how she thought Rae would do in Prek.She said we need to work on getting her to sit,maybe listening to me read,eating,etc.I get her in a chair at mealtimes but she is like a bouncy ball,constantly getting down.Tonight I tried AGAIN to read a book with her but she wanted to twirl.She says she is listening but her body won't stop "humming" when she sits.I have to wait until she is about to fall asleep then read to her.This is going to be an interesting scholl year...
She can play with Michael.Rachel likes to play with boys because she says girls get hurt too easy.Maybe I should worry about that comment...
Cute! Very funny! I totally got a giggle out of that!!
Oh no...boy does THAT sound familiar...
Get your rest over the summer...it'll all come to a screeching halt when school stops...
At least she can tell you what's going on...it took Michael a few "special" books to say "that's what happens to me!"
Good luck!!:hug:
Thanks.:hug: I have lived through this already with Peyton, though he wasn't as outspoken with what was happening to him.And he is more AD than hyper.
Hi Mel! I'm working on it. You need to PM me your address so that I can mail her off. I just printed the pic. Now I need to find a stick and then laminate her. I think you'll appreciate the picture....
Evening all. I see most have been here and gone for the night. I didn't get much done today. I was just to plain tired. I read on the boards a lot and did feed the children. We had pizza for dinner. Not only was I too lazy to cook I actually paid to have it delivered. I need to get groceries and laundry done tomorrow. I read up on here but just to much for me to keep straight and comment on. Thanks for all the kind words on my cousin. We really did have a great time. The good always out weighs the bad by the end of it all.
