Just taking my daily stroll to the school room... :rotfl:

So, Jodi- did I read you're going to AG place this week? I'm so jealous! We love AG. I just got a one year homeschoool curriculum that uses the books to study history. I plan on incorporating it when we do American history. The girls just got heir first dolls for their Bdays in May. I want more details, please!!! :lovestruc

Janet- Has flat Dawn shown up yet? I gave her to Kirt to mail last week (about Monday or Tuesday, I think)[

The kids should be here any second. K went to get them frommy mom's this morning. I pretty much got up at 7:20, took a shower, and went back to bed un til 11:30. I guess that really wore me out! :sad2:

I need a Barbie report. Where's T?:confused3

HI all. Jimmy and I were watching Song of the South and he FINALLY fell asleep.
How did you get a copy???

Excellent work! :goodvibes

How cool that V met your mom!

I did see some of Lessa's shopping. My MIL bought me a Dooney & Burke bucket bag back when I was first dating D and I hadn't ever heard of it. :rotfl: I DO still have it. ;)

OK, back to TV. ;)

Yeah CE is back!

I don't get the attraction...Maybe it's the blonde hair, maybe I have a touch of ADD...there's just too much I'd have to pay attention to. I'm all about dropping in drive and flooring it...

Then again, I don't have much coordination. I couldn't even do a step aerobics class...:sad2:

OMG, I could have written this!!!!

Ok, Kingdom Keepers, without giving away the story, takes place in WDW...kind of a sci-fi/adventure book I guess. I think it's Ridley Scott that wrote it. And without giving away too much, it's basically about what happens in the park AFTER it closes...

OOH, this sounds good, might be a good read for the plane in August!

But, is it too late to un-invite Gramma from our Dec. trip?! :rotfl:

uh-oh!

So, Leo went to his Dad's for two weeks last night, after we got back from WDW. :sad1: I miss him already.
:hug:
:headache: I happen to know of a child that can come and stay with you in Leo's place for a couple of weeks.

So I decided to go over witchy poo's head and made an appointment with the VP she reports into. He was very interested and accomodating and I am going over to his office Wednesday morning at 8:30. I will be professional and non emotional, but will bury the biotch:stir: . (I let my new VP know as a heads up and she thinks its an excellant idea)

The gloves are off!

Have a good one Fockers!

Oh yeah, they have all sorts of activities, yoga poses, balance games, aerobics, strength training, jogging. :rotfl: Some of them are really challenging as well. The balance board that you use is soooo sensitive and will notice even the slightest variation in movement so it knows when you mess up or not doing something properly. Also it measures your weight/BMI so if you are overweight it makes your Mii fat! :lmao:

now THAT is just WRONG! :rotfl:

I loved it, couldn't put it down! It's an easy read - think it's meant for teenagers actually - but it sucked me right in. And the part inside IASW is always what I'd imagined could/would happen. That's all I'm gonna say about that!

I say pick it up and read it.

But anyway there's a sequel that's supposed to be coming out this summer..haven't heard anything else yet...

Ok I just looked it up. Ridley Pearson. The 2nd one comes out Aug 26th according to Barnes and Noble dot com. I am def gonna have to pick them up!

Good morning everybody! Spent most of yesterday visiting with dad. He came down to celebrate his birthday with Alek, Erich and I since we were away last weekend when his birthday actually occurred. It was a pretty good day aside from the typical drama involving mom when dad comes to visit but that blew over quickly. We ate lunch out and then came back to the house and played around on the Wii Fit that my dad gave me yesterday as an early birthday present. I think that is rather funny as we were celebrating his birthday yet I get an early birthday present. :rotfl:

Today is my last day off before I start my string of day shifts at work. I hope to make the most of it since day shifts always leave me so drained (probably because they are sooo boring). :lmao:

Don't work too hard! At least the vacations for you are just around the corner!

I can't wait to hear how this goes!!!!

Just poppin in before KC gets the PC back for work. The laptop is KILLING me, but you know I'll be on it anyways, I need my DIS.

I just plan to do as much trip planning as I can this week since I can't really be on the pc.

Ok i'm off for some lunch. Have a great day everyone!!!!!!

Well, there's that factor, too - but it happens with books as well. I am VERY good at getting into the story, therefore ignoring everything in the "real world" around me. ;) But again, he doesn't think the DIS is bad, just all the computer time, if you KWIM. :thumbsup2

That's it exactly. If I am reading a book, the newspaper or whatever I tend to get engrossed in it. HE will start talking, and about half way through I will look at him and ask him what he said becasue he didn't wait for me to stop waht I was doing:headache:

Oh, Jo? D said "whilst" yesterday. I was so proud. :goodvibes :rotfl:

:rotfl2:

It's nearly 6pm and the window men are still here, the girls aren't happy as I said I wouldn't start dinner till they'd gone :rotfl2:

Did at least stop raining.

Just taking my daily stroll to the school room... :rotfl:

Hi Dawn:goodvibes Are you limited in going up and down the stairs once a day?

Janet- Has flat Dawn shown up yet? I gave her to Kirt to mail last week (about Monday or Tuesday, I think)

It hadn't come as of Saturday's mail. I will get the mail when I get home and let you know...I still haven't told Jim that we are having a traveling companion:rolleyes1

How did you get a copy???

HAve you ever been to Old Town in Kissimmee? There is a little Brit shop (run by Brit's-not Jo:rolleyes: ). We went in several years ago and they had a copy of it on VHS. I was gonna get, but couldn't justify $40 for a VHS tape. Jim knew I wanted it so he gave my mother money and after we left to go home she went and bought it for him and he gave it to me for Christmas:lovestruc .

The funny thing is that when I opened it up I thought he got ripped off becasue the label on the actual tape says something about Brit Comedy. We put it in the VCR and sure enough Song of the South Came on. It''s a bootleg (shhhh...)

Oh we are so going to need an update!:thumbsup2

V - :hug: to you and to Leo. Will you get to see him at all during those 2 weeks? And glad you had a good trip! Can't wait to read about it!

Leesa - Yay on the early birthday present. I want a Wii and a Wii Fit so bad but can't justify the amount.

Katt - Thank goodness they were all backed up! I lost almost a years worth of pics this spring and was NOT a happy camper. Some are stored in Shutterfly and Photobucket, but not all of them. :(

Jo - Yay on the ME stuff! And it does sound like an eventful morning!

Mel - Sounds like you've been busy and have fun later on shopping for curtains and some alone time! Good luck with the tire!

dreamn_Disney (Sorry Don't know your real name) - Sounds like a fun weekend despite all the drama.

LL - Did Michael's behavior get any better over the weekend?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had this typed up over an hour ago but then the kids wanted lunch so I walked with them down to the store and bought lunches for the week. Then once I got home I had to fix lunch and eat. The soon to be ex called some where in there and the kids had to talk with him and I had to talk with him regarding his visit. :rolleyes: The bride in whose wedding I was in sent an e-mail out with all her photos from the wedding and I looked at those. So, I'm just now getting back to this. LOL
Not much planned for us today. I wanted to go to the zoo with the kids but I keep hearing rumbles of thunder and the sun keeps popping in and out. So I guess I'll just clean, finish laundry and load the dishwasher.
Wish I could help but I only know Canadian prices. The Wii already comes with a controller so you would only need to buy one extra. My suggestion, look it up on bestbuy.com.
Hmmm, thought I quoted Janet. At any rate, yup, he's lived with me for HOW long now? Doesn't he know to make sure I'm paying attention BEFORE he starts talking? :rotfl:
In Chicago?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All right. I have to really get moving on cleaning up. I still need to do the downstairs floors and the kitchen & bathroom counters, nothing too horrible, but it needs to be done.

Yep! In Chicago. We're driving up for the day (and one night). My mom and MIL are going with us. :scared1:

DAWN!!!!! Glad to see you're up and about! I am going to AG Place on Wednesday. We leave tomorrow afternoon though to make the drive up, so we don't have to do it all in one day. I'm planning on taking lots and lots of pics and posting a mini-TR when I get home (probably sometime on Thursday). DD7 got a "just like you" doll for her birthday in May. Have you see Kit yet? Once you're up for it, you should take the girls. We haven't seen it yet, but it's in the plan. I've read that it's really a great movie!

We're headed out to run a few errands now. I've been working all morning (billing for our home business). I've still got to start cleaning as well! :scared1:

Just ordered Kingdom Keepers, I'm going to save it for the plane :thumbsup2 The RRP over here is $12 and I got it for $9.40 which included P&P :thumbsup2

Good luck Mo, hope she gets what she deserves :headache:

Jo did Flat Rosie arrive yet!!
Rosie :rotfl: For the third time, yes she's arrived :rotfl2:

There is a little Brit shop (run by Brit's-not Jo:rolleyes: ).
Don't you start :mad: Or I'll shop you about the pirate video :rolleyes1 ;) :rotfl2:

Next plea for help What sort of prices are the Wii and 2 controls and like what elseis a must have ? Getting the kids one for Xmas and am pricing now !! Any help appreciated!!
Rosie we just got a Wii, obviously can't help with the price but we bought the console (which comes with the game Wii Sports) we then bought an extra nunchuck (like a remote thing) and also a game called Wii Play which includes a FREE controller. We also bought a docking station which is a recharger for the controllers so you don't have to keep buying batteries :thumbsup2 TBH I wouldn't buy any other games until the kids give you an idea of what type they like!

Well the men didn't leave till after 7pm but upstairs is all done, I then spent half an hour hoovering (vacuuming) and putting curtains back up. Ellie and I did the scream test, we screamed whilst David stood outside and he could barely hear us :thumbsup2 I can really tell the kids off now without the neighbours hearing ;) :rotfl2:

I'm playing in a golf comp tomorrow, it's a cup and it's due to rain again :headache: We've just had a big thunder and lightening storm so I don't want that tomorrow :eek:

Oooh, have fun. I've actually been to that AG - was with friends with girls, so... ;) Where are you staying? Take a picture at the Bean in Millenium Park for me. :goodvibes

We just got back from exchanging the furniture we bought, We told the sales guy when we bought it that we forsaw damage problems with it and he said don't worry it has a life time warranty soooo we have ne (different ) furniture and got a bunk bed for Kyle to boot!!:banana:
