HAPPY ALMOST-BIRTHDAY JANET!!!! :hug:

Thanks V:goodvibes

So, I got this idea last night that maybe, maybe we might hit Orlando over July 4th weekend. No WDW parks, just WPs and maybe Sea World.

CRAZY, right?!

Then I go through the Passholder portal as I always do to look at rates/availability. I expected to find nothing, or maybe a couple non-discounted Presidential Suites left.

Oh no. That's NOT what I found.

I found PLENTY of availability both 7/4 and 7/5... at great discounts! :scared1: I'm stunned. Seems like the recession is really hitting WDW this summer.

As for me... I may book this afternoon. ;)

REALLY? Maybe this will be a good sign for August:confused3 We can hope right::yes::

:rotfl2: Hope he's on time today though :goodvibes

One can always hope:rolleyes1

As the Birthday Girl will be gone.............

Happy Birthday Janet

Happy-Birthday-Marie.gif

Thanks Jo:goodvibes

Glad I wasn't forgotten.:)

Never forgotten:goodvibes

We're off to Ikea and then I'm out tonight, so I'll catch all y'all later! Have a great Friday! :goodvibes

See you some time Monday afternoon.:thumbsup2

------------------------------------------------------------------------

My day is going like this :snail: . I just want this day to be over. I just want to get to the :beach: already.

Keep me entertained until 2:00 everyone...Pleeeeaaasssseee!:smokin:

Just got back from Wal-Mart. Found two planters that look like clay, but are really plastic. They're about 2 1/2 feet long and 8 inches wide. They're really pretty and I think they'll look good out on Amy's deck. I got four zinnia plants (two pink and two yellow - very large) and two pots of white vincas. Since her deck gets the afternoon sun, I had to make sure to get plants that can handle lots of sun. I also picked up potting soil and pea gravel for drainage. My friend is coming over at 1:30 to help me plant. We'll put the kids to work too! ::yes::

So, Janet, I may have missed this on TFW4 thread, but how long are you going to be at the beach? And which beach are you going to? I'd love to live close enough to go to a beach for a weekend, but alas, it would take quite awhile to drive to the beach from the middle of Indiana (unless you count Lake Michigan).

Can you do the renwal online? We can here.

I know I had to do the name chang ein person though because they had to see a copy of the marriage license. IT is a pain getting married ain't it:rolleyes1 The worse was the Social Security Office. I had to take my birth certificate, my marriage certificate, the orginal social security card, a drivers license, and 1 other thing...then you sit for an hour before someone waits on you to push 4 littles keys in a computer and tell you that you will get your new card in 7-14 business days:headache:

Yea you can but his address was also wrong. His parents lived in this building before me so his apartment # is wrong. he got up and left this morning not bothering me and now he's bringing lunch and coffee home! As long as I bring my marriage cert with me when i fly I have no problems, so I'm over the DMV for now.

Good Morning everyone!
I've got a busy morning planned. Still trying to catch up from being so sick earlier this week. I've got to run to Kohls and pay my bill, run to Wal-Mart to pick up some items for our school (I'm the PTO Treasurer) and then buy a bunch of flowers, planters and dirt.

What a great thing to be doing for your friends!

Camping Yeah, I don’t do that. Good luck though Jen! :rotfl:

Only you can go AGAIN! I wanna be able to get in a car and go there!!!
Did ya book????

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EARLY JANET!

It's our birthday weekend! :banana:

Mel & Katt- I'm throughly jealous of you being with Mickey right now!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got up and straightened up some. Pants is coming over this afternoon and we are headed out to dinner at some point. He said he's bringing PS3 games for KC so that means PC time for me :rotfl: Otherweise today should be mellow, which is good!
Happy Friday!
He is a sweetheart. Really wish we were getting the chance to meet him in August.
:lmao: at the DMV.
I have looked at these several times. They look soooo peaceful:cloud9:
We can renew online, but not if it's expired. Or if you're due for an eye exam.
We stayed in a cabin at FW back in Sept/Oct 2005. It was fun. We gave the girls the bedroom and slept on the Murphy bed. The only problem we had with it was the transportation within the campground. You had to catch an internal bus to one of the other bus stops to catch a bus to the parks. It took FOREVER! We had a rental car with us and after a few days, we just started driving to the parks. You can rent a golf car for the time you're there, but I think it was something like $40 a day! Wow! You can rent a car for that amount!
Anyway, we're DVC members now, so I don't see another stay at FW in our future! :rotfl2:
:yay: :yay: Thanks Kat. Do you guys have anything exciting planned for your birthday!
I am getting a haircut Monday morning, then meeting KC in the city and we are gonna head to the Central Park Zoo or FAO for Ice Cream and then World of Disney and Dinner at Serendipity with a bunch of friends (Some DIS peeps included). I'm excited. :goodvibes
Well that kinda puts my curiosity in check. LOL. I am always looking for ways to make the Disney vacations different so they appeal to KC, thats what the curiosity was about initially. He likes it but he isn't into the same vacation over and over so I am trying to get creative.
only looked at this page...
Camping, um roughing it is a Holiday Inn for me, KWIM, yeah I'm a snob, speaking of which where's T, she's right there with me on this one.
I fortunately do not color or perm my hair, that is one thing I got right, great color and thick (maybe a touch too thick). Now the rest of me, we would need TFW6 ....
Kat - is it your b-day too? Wow totally missed that.
HAPPY B_DAY to all then, (just in case)
Jo - you golfing again?:lmao:
DMV = evil, however I found a store front one not far from Murph's, in and out in about half an hour usually:thumbsup2
Mel have a wonder time
Janet have a wonderful time
Jodi, you are a good person, your friend is very lucky to have you:hug:
It all sounds so pretty! You're a great friend to do it. :goodvibes
Did ya book????
Not yet. I'm 98% sure I want to stay over on 7/5, but I'm undecided about adding 7/4. We MUST see fireworks and I'm not sure where we could do that without park tix. I've heard they won't let non-guests in to the resorts to watch, either, so the Poly's out. Unless I stay there. :idea:
Nonononononononono! I'm making myself put my wallet away now! :rotfl2:
For now:rolleyes1
Janet ~ Happy Birthday! :cake: Have a wonderful trip.
V ~ What if you got dinner ressies at the Poly and then went to the beach to watch? Just an enabling thought ;)
CRO? Puh-lease. :snooty: I don't pay long distance.
I've been playing around on the website. :rotfl:
Nope, Poly's out - but the amazing thing is rooms are available there in every category! Ditto for EVERY other resport, in all room categories! :faint:
I just looked at Touringplans, too - they've dropped most of summer down from the 10s predicted earlier to moistly 8s and a couple 9s. WOW!
I heard you had to show Poly resort ID just to get to the beach in previous years. :worried: But a great idea!
I think we'll stay home for the 4th (my favorite holiday!) and see our fireworks here with Gramma, then Leo and I'll head over to WDW for Sat. and Sun.
Unless I change my mind. ;)
Have fun :wave2:
She's probably on the phone with CRO as we type:lmao:
That made me laugh really hard, V. Sorry! :rotfl2: :lmao:
Sounds lovely :goodvibes
Actually, the planters turned out very nicely. They look so pretty out on her deck. And the best part is that I can see them from mine too, since she lives directly behind me! We took them over and watered them and then just left. We've still got a little bit of money left so we're going to buy some restaurant gift cards for them to use for takeout meals when they need them.
Gotta mow the lawn tonight once the heat subsides. It was just a little too hot and steamy this afternoon. :scared1:
Then, we've got to watch the premiere of Camp Rock! :happytv:
Phew caught up !! Happy Birthday Janet and have a good trip!
Kat sounds like you day will be fun
Jo you are still the Bestest!!
