Tomorrow is the dreaded "needling" at the Glaucoma Drs. I have done a pretty good job of putting it out of my head till now. I tossed and turned all night. I really don't want them to have to do surgery again though, so I guess I'd better toughen up. What are you guys doing?

Good morning, everyone. I'm going to try and get some cereal and peanut butter at the store this am. K got so into his projects that he never made it to the store. I'm sure those couple of things will hold us off for a few more days. That and the meals my SIL made in our freezer.

A lady I am in choir with... her husband committed suicide yesterday . Their daughter was in with their new grandbaby and they were having a family reunion... he left early to "Check on the store" (they own a "Feed and Seed") and he killed himself there.

HOW DO PEOPLE LOSE ALL SENSE OF HOPE... that this looks like it will END all your PROBLEMS ??

Well, DD4 seems to be totally better this morning, although she's still milking it a bit.

Sorry, I missed eveyrthing yesterday, but here's a belated hug! Glad today's an improvement.

I know this gets flamed by many people but buffet waiters shouldn't get such a big tip, they don't do as much and have more tables giving them tips in a shorter time!!!!

Jo, as a former server, I couldn't agree more. I was hesitant to work the weekly buffet brunch at my restaurant, figuring on way less in tips. In fact, the sheer volume of tables moving through just about made up for the lower tip amount per table. And SO much less physical work! It wound up being a nice break from the Fri. and Sat. night madness.

I just looked up the competition results from last week and guess who won again They will definitely kick me out soon

It was sooo good to see him last night. He was off to his first day of horse camp this morning - I'm looking forward to hearing about his day!

Oh Katt, I'm so sorry. That really stinks. I don't understand it either. We had a guy in our Sunday School class a few years ago going through a divorce and a custody issue and he ended it by killing himself and his four year old son. It was awful. They don't realize the huge problems, questions and anguish it leaves behind. I would have to say that suicide is the most selfish thing a person can do. I will be praying for your friend (and for you too!).

How does 20 miles over the speed limit sound to you?

They did cut him a "Break" and reduced the mileage a little.. so no or for less points on the old liscence. Still... $5.00 for every mile over .. Grand Total is... $75.00

. There was only 1 family with 2 young children in our show. But when we came out - Holy Cow! - the line for the 3:30 show was huge and there were a lot of little ones in that line. There are already enough adults in this world that don't like clowns. These kids are going to have nightmares about them at 5 and 6 yrs of age!

Had a beautiful walk it only took 1.75 hours this time so we're getting quicker, we then went to the supermarket and I decided to make a keylime pie, when I got home though I'd forgotten half the ingredients So I had to go to a smaller store closer to home to get them We then played 9 holes and whilst David got Ellie from school I made the pie and so far it's yummy, well the bits I tasted from licking the bowl were

Hi ya girls. Sorry for the bad Monday blues some of you are facing. Hang on, it is almost Tuesday. Well, it will be Tuesday in 12 hours.

LEO IS HOME! Hope dad didn't do too much damage. Jaws... Think he'll get in the ocean again? I was afraid of pools after that movie!

I just vacuumed our whole house, baseboards and small spaces included. Seems my allergies have decided to KICK MY TUSH! Next on my list is changing the air filters...just after I cool myself off from all of that vacuuming.

I just got a call from a market research company which I do "paid studies" for. I qualified in every question...BUT AGE! They were looking for young adult woman. I am now considered to be in the older adult category. What!~ I mean, yes I am getting some greys here and there, but I still got my grove on, dress fairly "in style", dine at "posh" restaurants (when I can...well I guess, only from time to time) and I'm only 35! Next they'll through me in with the grannies. (no offense to any grannies).


Bummer... I could of used some extra WDW cash.

I survived Walmart. I was beat, but B's so sweet , she carried all the groceries in and I made the kids help put things away.

Some power outages due to a heat wave. We have been lucky tho nothing out so far. I'm just trying to keep the power to a minimum.

It's my nice peaceful Monday afternoon. All is well except for the broken mailbox downstairs, the lobby construction and stolen mail. I'm dealing with that carp as best I can (calls after calls after calls). I am planning to vege out on the pc all day and start my PTR!
