Good morning everyone! I'm Hope, Denise's (wdw4us) son's girlfriend.

I recently registered to do the half, and I figured this would be a great way to make friends, stay dedicated, and have fun. I haven't worked out since doing the Half in January, so I need to get back in the swing of things.

Looks like we're all getting out there and getting some exercise in--nice!

I did tempo workout tonight--35 minutes, 1.82 miles (kicked my booty, though).

Tomorrow, xt and Saturday is supposed to be my distance day (7 miles this week!). The weather is not supposed to cooperate, so I may have to move it to Sunday....

Sat - 1 hour bike trainer, 18 miles

Going to have to own up to what has been the longest streak without a workout in months... After that 13 miler uphill last Sunday I went 5 full days doing nothing. :sad2: I was travelling on vacation through Wed night, but no excuses for Thur/Fri other than the fact I'm not running due to medial shin pain. No reason I shouldn't have been able to get on the bike. Planning to get in a solid several days of riding before I head out next weekend for the LA Marathon...

Wait... NEXT WEEKEND? OMG PANIC TIME:scared:
 
It's been another sad week for me, only got in 8 miles and a total of 2.5 hours with crosstraining. Sorry Team:sad2: I have to keep telling myself that spring is right around the corner:flower3:
 
Wow, team! We're doing amazing! Matt, you do more workouts consistently than anyone else I know on the planet (including some pro athletes...). I know you'll have a great time next weekend. Shouldn't you be tapering anyway?

I did my longest distance ever today--7.5 miles. It took me 138 minutes (2:18). But I'm proud of myself. :) Yesterday, I suspect I can't count the 45 minutes I spent making a snowman/snowdog and then photographing the dog as cross-training (although I felt all the squatting I did when I woke up this morning--hips and thighs, oh my!).

I'm pulling myself together and I'll be entering the numbers in the spreadsheet in a bit.

Sorry for not posting for a while. Just got back last night from a week at Disneyworld! We had great weather and a fabulous time. No formalI exercise per se, but did do some walking at Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Otherwise did a lot of poolside sitting and hanging out with my brother and his wife and my hubby. Plan to do 4 miles sometime today or this evening. Hope everyone has been healthy and happy! I feel so out of touch! :)

Okay, just did today's milage. Did 4 miles:54 minutes WATP
 
6.32 miles for me today in 1:13:58.

Total for the week:
12.71 miles
2:25:54

Have I missed something in terms of how we are reporting our miles?
 
We are reporting daily or during the week to encourage each other/commiserate/share our triumphs, but Saturday to Friday totals are posted as total miles and totals hours. :)

(I just discovered that if I'm not careful with my typing, being off by one letter changes us from Heroes into viruses....)

I updated the spread sheet. We have some teammates who haven't checked in yet. I hope they are fine and out having fun for the weekend!

Matt, I never got your totals from the week ending 2/15, and I know they were significant! I need you to tally them for me since I'm struggling to keep up with training vs. competition miles for you....

Sandy, you okay? Need totals from last week/this week for you and Tim.

By the way, I put my Saturday miles in when I set up the sheet for next week so I don't get confused on which week the Saturday miles count for--I just stick it in to make sure I don't mess up the spreadsheet the next week....
