TEAM DONALD--Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge

Good Wednesday morning Team Donald

I just realized that I haven't posted this morning like I usually do. I didn't want people to be worried aboutme.

My back is still pretty sore but I know that backs can take a while mend. I haven't been working out but I did do a lot of stretching yesterday and walked 8000 steps so I am pretty happy with that.

Congrats to yrdlyprincess on being our top winner last week and to all our losers from last week.

Have to go. Sorry so short.

Have a happy and healthy day.

Hope your back feels better soon, but you are right, it takes time.

Hello Donalds!! :donald:

I've been reading along but haven't posted in awhile, I think not since last Saturday. It's been a busy week but slowing down a little finally. My new tooth has joined in with the others and is right at home so eating is all back to normal. I've even eaten a few very crunchy things that I've been slightly nervous about but all is good.

Yeah for happy new teeth!

Congrats to all the biggest losers this week! And kudos to yrdlyprincess for being the top winner this week!!! I had a very good week last week for me and my percentage of weight loss was .86, which I do not often have. I've dropped another pound so far this week:banana: My new scale is really motivating me.....it weighs in .2 increments, does not need solar power to work and is just really cool and sleek looking. It just looks like it's gonna give you good news! I'm enjoying our new relationship so far:lovestruc
My old scale was solar powered and it's still dark in the morning and we have weak lights here that are sometimes stuck in eaves and corners so it was not easy to weigh in the morning. I always weigh every day 3 times and I have to see a number twice before it's "official"....my old scale would give me every number from 90 to 200, it was getting really old!!! My new scale gives me the exact same number all 3 times:banana:

Isn't it funny how attached we become to our scales? Or maybe it's rather sick & pathetic. I really haven't decided. Took me 'trying out' 3 before I settled on the one I now have.

We had a very nice Valentine's Day here, I wrote a love letter to my DH and one to my DS (very different letters!) and gave them each a small bag of candy. Not very healthy but couldn't think of anything else for guys! DH really surprised me (shocked is more like it) and gave me a Nikon Cool Pics camera. We have both been complaining about lugging around our big Nikon on every vacation so this will be perfect. We'll take it to Paris this weekend and try it out.

That was an AWESOME gift! He gets an A+!!

Hope everyone is having a great week! See you tomorrow which will be my 50th birthday:yay::yay::yay:

Shawnprincess:

Since it is probably now closer to tomorrow than today where you live, it is nearly your birthday! Hope it is a good one. I had my 50th back in July.

Things are going well here. I had a "run-in" with some sugar cookies yesterday (must have been a weak moment, cause I'm not really a cookie person), but I just wrote them down and moved on with my day and made good choices for the remainder of the day.

Well.... I can hear them coming!! gotta run! (subbing in Kindergarten today!)...........P

Glad you were able to move on. That's what really counts!!

Good morning Team Donald!!

Been busy with not enough dis time, but am still very focused and in control. Down a pound this morning to 201.8, so very excited and motivated to keep at it. If I step on the scale once and it's below 200, I'm not weighing again til after disney.:lmao:

Got out for 3 mile run/walk this morning and decided that's the perfect length for me. Not too daunting when I first go out, can keep up my energy the whole time, and I get home with some time to spare on the dis before work.

Hello to everyone I've missed. Keep on keeping on!! We can do this!!:cheer2:

Almost forgot the qotd, since I was having a hard time deciding which part to change. I think I'd go for the Tummy tuck, but a little breast reduction and lift would be nice too.

Have a great day everyone!!

Almost in ONEderland! That's ONEderful!!

3 miles is, indeed, a good distance.

QOTD for 1/16 - Imagine you had an old fashioned balance scale. On one side put all the things you've given up for this journey, and on the other put everything you've gained and will gain from this journey. Which is more significant / important to you and which holds the most weight?

This was an eye opener for me and the cause for much contemplation. Sometimes, in the here and now, the 'given up' side is WAY heavier, but overall, the what I gain FAR outweighs it!

I never did make it back on here last night. About 1 p.m. I was on facebook when a friend posted that the local Radisson with an indoor Waterpark was having a promo whereby if you got 100 friends that 'liked' them, you could take a printout of your page in and you would receive 1 free night stay and 4 tickets to the Waterpark. You had to have it to them by the 19th. Then about an hour after I started, they upped the deadline to 9 p.m. last night because the grossly underestimated the power of the social media.

So, being a freebie fanatic, I HAD to do it - value $300. I, and a few hundred others, 'sat' on their page asking others to 'friend' them and helping others out. Before DH got home at 4:30 I had mine, so we drove to book the stay, picked DD up at UNM, and, unfortunately went to FIVE GUYS for dinner. There, I had my first real burger in several years and a few fries. NOT the greatest choice, but I have to admit it was REALLY good!

So, I got home about 7 and DS21 best friend, who was at church w/ DS21 working, texted me and asked me to check his FB to see if he had enough. He had 85, so I rounded up enough, printed his pages off took them to him & then accompanied him down to reserve his room. We had 12 minutes to spare. I finally got back home at about 10:20.

Thus, I never got back on last night. But, we have 2 rooms and 8 free tickets to the Waterpark for March 19 - Spring Break!

Good morning Team Donald!!

A big congrats to Yrdlyprincess on being our biggest loser this week!!:cool1:
And congrats to all the other top losers, including me. I was so excited to see my name up there. Big numbers don't come my way often, so I need to celebrate them.

Been busy with not enough dis time, but am still very focused and in control. Down a pound this morning to 201.8, so very excited and motivated to keep at it. If I step on the scale once and it's below 200, I'm not weighing again til after disney.:lmao:

You can do it!! 1.8 before you leave??? When are you leaving? I agree with your statement..... as soon as that number on the scale starts with a "1", it is officially your Princess Half marathon weight!!!

Pamela- congrats to dd on her new record. She must be so thrilled and you must be so proud of her. God bless you on teaching her to drive, that can not be easy. My friend is teaching her dd also, and she took me for a drive, and i was white knuckled the whole time. I guess it takes a while to figure out how close you are to things on the right side of the car, but man I thought we were going to hit a few things. I had a hard time teaching michael to ride his bike, so I can't imagine what driving will be like.

Yup, it's tough. I'm a bit of a control freak anyhow, so I have a tough time being in the passenger seat with anybody.... but it is super tough with a rookie teenager who thinks she knows everything!!

:wave2: Good Morning. Looking forward to a good and productive day. I think that I may go and check out the Planet Fitness in our area. It isn't really all that close but it isn't a bad drive and I would love to be able to use a bike and the weight equipment. I am really not into the videos thing. I was hoping that we would join the Y again but it made more sense for DH to join the place right near his work so he can go at lunch time. My only big problem with deciding to join a gym is just that I don't know if I will really use it. Some days I am motivated but usually I'm not! At least Planet Fitness is cheap and no contract. Haven't discussed it with DH yet-- figure I will go look and see if it is decent (clean, nice looking, friendly etc)

NSV this morning! Pulled out a sweater to wear this morning. When I tried to wear it last year I decided not to because it was way too tight. This morning I put it on and almost decided not to wear it because it is too big!:rotfl:

I hope you have some good luck finding a new gym. I've heard many good things about Planet Fitness.

WOOHOO on the NSV!! Wear it once, to prove you can, and then ditch it and move on to something that really fits!!

:
Unfortunately DD's shoulder problem is a genetic thing she got from me-- something about having loose joints that don't have enough of something holding the joints together so it moves very freely. Made her a great butterflier! We have done quite a bit of PT but it isn't helping and the only other option would be surgery and we aren't willing to do that. She enjoys swimming but it isn't her life so the risks aren't worth the benefits. She wants to do school swim team next year too. If the dr says that she can swim and will just have pain but it won't do any damage (which I don't think it will) then she can decide what she wants to do.

Sorry to hear about her shoulders. If she can swim with pain without doing damage, I suppose that would be okay.... but it would be tough. But I'll bet she was a great butterflier! DD would like to do better with that stroke.... but I think her shoulders are her weakness.

Donalds,

I need a new scale. My current scale has a missing back and the battery continues to fall out. I'm looking for a digital model with not many bells and whistles since all I really want it to do is weigh me :rotfl:

Also, has anyone used a heart rate monitor? I've been using a Polar HRM for about a year but it is pretty basic and I would love to get my miles as well as heart rate on the monitor! Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I had a "THINner" brand for a few years that I really liked. It cost about $35 from Target. But it died suddenly and unexpectedly one Friday morning and it was probably only 2 years old.

I think the one I have at home right now is a Weight Watchers, but I'm not sure. I've been very happy with it.

WOW on the freebies.....:worship: Even though I am cheap, I am also lazy, so I couldn't have bothered.... but you guys are all set for Spring Break!

QOTD: Imagine you had an old fashioned balance scale. On one side put all the things you've given up for this journey, and on the other put everything you've gained and will gain from this journey. Which is more significant / important to you and which holds the most weight?

I agree with you. What I have GAINED is so much more important than the things I have given up! I've gained (hopefully) some additional years of HEALTHY living, a new wardrobe, a big group of new "imaginary friends", and a BOAT LOAD of self-confidence!! I've gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about eating/living healthier that I am trying HARD to pass on to DS and DD (and, to some degree, DH). I've gained a lot of KNOWLEDGE about myself.... I AM worth it, I AM smart(er) than I thought I was, I AM capable of making big changes, I AM strong.

All of that, compared to the unhealthy habits/foods I've given up..... NO COMPARISON!!

Thanks for a GREAT QOTD!!!...................P

Will post again later, sitting in the lot at school waiting for ds9.
But I just had to say, bob Harper, yeah he hates me!!! I can not climb into the truck, I can't do stairs, heck I can't even step up on the curb! And forget about picking up stuff I dropped.

Donalds,

I need a new scale. My current scale has a missing back and the battery continues to fall out. I'm looking for a digital model with not many bells and whistles since all I really want it to do is weigh me :rotfl:

Thanks!

I have been running with a HRM since 2004. I have over 13000 miles worth of HR data. Actually, in late 2006 I picked up that there was something wrong with me by noticing a change in my HR data. Of course I didn't think it was my heart but that is what it ended up being.

Polar makes that best HRM's. I started using the S625X and have been using the RS800SD the last 3 years. I like that I can IR transfer all my info from my watch into the Polar software. Garmin is very popular but the foot pod that Polar uses is just as accurate and the HR data and software is better.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

David

Well, we have a race going between 3 people heading to "onederland", does anyone want to race to 180's with me...I have 4.8 pounds to go to get there.
Along the way I will celebrate losing 30 pounds and reducing my BMI from 37 to 32:cool1:

Shawnprincess:

I'll take that challenge Shawn!! I'm at 193 but have been there 2 weeks in a row. I want to break through 190 within the next 2 weeks.

I've been a little lax with food this week, eating to many portions. And I didn't work out today, my legs hurt way to much. I have got to get back in gear. 79 days til Everest.

Buffy- I'm catching up to ya.;) All the talk of the pain makes me really want to try out those kettleballs. Congrats on the c25k!! When I did it last year, I didn't do anything else, so I would think doing the kettle ball at the same time could affect you when you run. I also worked up to a 2.5 mile run straight, but could hardly walk the next day, so I decided that run/walk intervals worked better for me at my age and weight. I usually do 4 min run, 1 walk for shorter runs, and 2/1 for longer ones. It's a great program, and they also say if you need to repeat a week that's ok too. Keep up the great work. You're an exercising machine.

Catch me if you can!!!!! LOL

I'm altering kettle bells til after the 5K. My legs hurt so bad it's not funny anymore. One of the school dad's had to help me down the curb and into my truck today. Embarrassing!!!!! I thought it would be more for upper arm strength and toning, oh how wrong I was.
I'm definitely repeating week 3 on C25K, I'm not ready to push to the next level and the last thing I want to do is get hurt.

I'm gonna go take some advil and rest up. I think DS14 is making dinner tonight, he just doesn't know it yet. LOL

Afternoon everybody

Had a busy day here. Took Onslow for a short walk as he was not ammenable to a long walk. Too bad because it was beautiful outside. Then came home nad got the floor cleaned in the living/dining areas and front hallway. Made me wish for a steamer for the floors:lmao: I know which 1 I want too. Just a matter of when. floors definitely look better though if not great.

Booked my pre-cruise hotel for Oct. a little while ago. I love planning trips like this. Wish I could do it more often:love:

/
Wow-- that is great...now I have to get back on the treadmill and get it back down before Friday again....wasnt so good at the beginning of this week (Valentines Day and all) but did my cardio today and a little Insanity (thought I was going to have a heartattack from that) will eat good again tonight. Everyone on here is so inspiring! Keep up the good work everyone!

Congratulations to all our superstars and especially our biggest loser, yrdlyprincess! :cool1:

And congratulations to all of us sticking with the challenge -- we all deserve a big woo hoo! :woohoo:

dona, glad that the back is getting better. :flower3:

Shawn, Happy Birthday! :bday: party:

I'm sure it is your birthday by now where you are! :goodvibes I was wondering where you were so I'm glad that you checked in. I thought you might have gone to Paris already. Enjoy that birthday trip! And remember 50 is fabulous! You'll be in ONE-derland in no time! :cool2:

Lisa-You going to join us in the race to One-derland, aren't you!! We can get there this time!!!!

Yes, I'm in the race to ONE-derland but realistically I will be in the second wave later this spring with Dona. :thumbsup2 But once I'm there, I'm there for good!

LTS, enjoy your productive day! :goodvibes

pjlla, cookies happen -- you have such a great attitude about it! :flower3:

Donalds,

Karen, I just saw an article in Consumer Reports about this. I will post what they said tomorrow.

QOTD for 1/16 - Imagine you had an old fashioned balance scale. On one side put all the things you've given up for this journey, and on the other put everything you've gained and will gain from this journey. Which is more significant / important to you and which holds the most weight?

Julie, congrats on the water park stay! :yay:

This is a great question. Although at times I do feel like I'm giving things up now when I try to think what that was I can't think of anything significant. :rolleyes1 What I've gained definitely outweighs what I've given up -- I'm gaining my health, my self-esteem and some crazy desire to run 13.1 miles among other things. princess:

David, congrats on the good report from the doctor! :goodvibes

Buffy, don't forget to give yourself a rest -- your body needs to rest to get stronger. :flower3:

Maureen, glad that you and Onslow got to enjoy the nice weather -- it wasn't that long ago that he was dragging around in the snow! :cool2:

One week from now at this time I will be checking in at Animal Kingdom! :dance3: I can't wait! princess:

Have a great evening all!

Happy Valentine's Day to you, too, Sue! You know what Valentine's Day means? Only 2 more months until tax season is over! :flower3:

Nope it doesn't make any difference as a team whether you are a loser or a maintainer. We like everyone on our team no matter what the scale is doing!

I just suggested that to you in case that was putting any pressure on you during a busy time of year. Sometimes when I am crazy busy I try and set myself up for success and take some pressure off so I have one less thing to worry about. :goodvibes

Okay, I guess I'll keep plugging along. If I switch to maintain I might give myself too much slack :goodvibes

Well after I said that Valentines is really no big deal here DH came home with a heart balloon and one of my favorite indulgent treats-- raspberries! I absolutely love them but they are so expensive I rarely buy them. He actually got me blackberries and strawberries too. And when he got home I was in the process of making him a diet friendly version of his absolute favorite meal, Chicken Florentine, otherwise known as Heart Attack on a Plate. It certainly wasn't as good as the real thing but still turned out quite yummy. So I guess we do try to do something for each other on Valentines Day.:lovestruc

In upsetting news I found out that one of our best friends in the world had a heart attack yesterday.

Yahoo, that was super nice of your DH and healthy too!

Hope your friend is doing and getting better

Hello all!! I've been assigned Team Donald :cool1:. I love him - such attitude.

Welcome :cool1:

Shawn, Happy Birthday! :bday: party:

Yes, Happy Birthday Shawn :cool1:

Yahoo for your trip to Disney :woohoo:

Congratulations Donalds and everyone who had great weight losses last week!

Kathy - Is next week still school vacation for Michael or did they take away some days? When do you leave for Disney?

QOTD 2/17 -

Along this journey, things have happened to us, I believe that give us the strength and motivation to keep going. What is your motivation? Likewise, there are things that hold us back from true success. What is holding you back?

Tough questions, but definitely, I think, worth pondering.

I'll take that challenge Shawn!! I'm at 193 but have been there 2 weeks in a row. I want to break through 190 within the next 2 weeks.

You're on !!! And, if you get there first, how about throwing a rope over to help me across!!??

Shawn, Happy Birthday! :bday: party:

I'm sure it is your birthday by now where you are! :goodvibes I was wondering where you were so I'm glad that you checked in. I thought you might have gone to Paris already. Enjoy that birthday trip! And remember 50 is fabulous! You'll be in ONE-derland in no time! :cool2:

Yes!!! It is now my birthday and it was when you posted too! So far, 50 is fabulous:thumbsup2 Thanks for the birthday wishes. We leave in the morning for our birthday weekend - hubby's birthday is Sunday. You have me confused - I'm racing for 180's, been stuck in 190's since December, hoping to break through soon:goodvibes.....

We had a little pre-birthday drama last night, DH tried to give me my present in the middle of me cooking dinner. I was smack-dab in the middle of a complicated recipe with about 15 ingredients, had about 1/2 of it going on the stove and needed to finish but had to stop and open gift. Well, it was 2 charms for my bracelet! They are clip on charms and I broke one trying to clip it on quickly! Now, I have to go downtown today and see if they will give me another one, ugh I will try to explain in German but hope they can speak English. Not what I was planning to do today, have alot of other things to do to get ready for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Have a fabulous day Donalds! I will check back in later!

Shawnprincess:

Goodd Thursday morning Team DOnald.

For me this is like a Friday since we have an inservice tomorrow morning. Today is our last day for kids until Tuesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Shawn The 50's have been pretty good for me. 55 has been pretty lousy but I know it will get better.

I am going out tonight. We have never done this before but my school planned a trip into NYC. we are having dinner in the city (I haven't done this in 10 years) and then going to see La Cage au Folles. I saw it when it was on Broadway in the 80's so I am excited to see it again.

Hi to everyone. I hope your week has been going well. My back is starting to ease up. It is still a small problem to get up and down but sitting is okay and walking is okay. I did 12000 steps yesterday so it was not really a problem.

I have to go. Breakfast will be at school to celebrate the monthly birthdays.

Have a happy and healthy day.

Good thursday morning everyone. Last day before weighin, lets make it count!! Get that water in, move those bodies, we can beat Mickey this week!!!!:cool1:

QOTD 2/17 -

Along this journey, things have happened to us, I believe that give us the strength and motivation to keep going. What is your motivation? Likewise, there are things that hold us back from true success. What is holding you back?
Such wonderful, thought provoking questions you've had this week, Julie. I'm going to come back to this one later when I have more time. Lots swirling in my head this morning.

Yes, I'm in the race to ONE-derland but realistically I will be in the second wave later this spring with Dona. :thumbsup2 But once I'm there, I'm there for good!
Amen!! You're going to do it!!:thumbsup2

the what I've gained side way outweighs the what I've given up side. I've given up sitting on the couch downing a bag of cheetos or potato chips while I watch tv all night. I've given up having 3 pieces of cake or pie instead of one, I honestly don't feel like I have give up anything that is worth having. As far as food goes, I will have what I want but more in moderation, inactivity I can live without. The feeling that I am fit and can move more easily, and when I bend down to pick somthing up my knees don't kill standing back up again, I can run after my son and not feel like I'm dying. I think, (hope and pray) that I am going to be around a lot longer than my parents, and as I age, I am going to stay active. I am showing my son a healthier lifestyle than I grew up with, and I hope to have the peace of mind that I've done all I can so that he will not have the weight and inactivity battle that I've had. I've made some wonderful friends here as well, and can't believe I'm going to meet some face to face next week, and run/walk a half marathon. I've also gained the confidence to know that I can do it. ( most days):rotfl2:

He has the whole week off, and we leave on wednesday which is looking sunny and 36 degrees!!! I've been so worried about snow. We come back tuesday the 1st since it was so much cheaper to fly after school vacation. Reminds me I need to write a note to his teacher this morning. How's your week going? Bummer you have to work tomorrow, it's supposed to be so warm. I'm so excited even though I'll be at work all day too.

party:HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN!!!party:
Have a fabulous trip to Paris!! Wow, that sounds so amazing, heading to paris to celebrate your birthday. I think I'm jealous. Oh but wait, I'll be with mickey next week for mine!! 6 more days!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!:cheer2:

Back from downtown. They gave me a new charm to replace the broken one but told me that normally you need to send it back to the company for repair. (REALLY!!?? When it breaks the first time you put it on!!??) But, I had to say this in my head...my language skills are not that strong and since I had the new one, what was the point. These are not cheap charms either!

Having a great day, just hanging around the house and getting ready for our trip. I keep running to the computer to see if I have amy more bday wishes on FB:rotfl2: I have 11 so far but I guess it's still early on the East Coast:)

I went and got myself some "treats" and I am having tiny little tastings...4 sips of a coke and 1/4 apple strudel. You can actually buy a 4 oz coke here.
I will have some more after dinner tonight. So different than previous years when I would have gorged all day!

Thank you all my dear WISH friends for your birthday greetings! So glad I found this group, it makes every day life easier for me to discuss these things with you. If I ever bring up eating or exercise with my IRL friends, I usually get things like,"You don't need to worry about that" or "It won't matter". Hello, I have BMI of over 32 right now so I KNOW I need to be healthier!
The support here is fabulous!

QOTD 2/17 -

Along this journey, things have happened to us, I believe that give us the strength and motivation to keep going. What is your motivation? Likewise, there are things that hold us back from true success. What is holding you back?

Tough questions, but definitely, I think, worth pondering.

I am motivated by the results I achieve - when I see them on the scale or in the mirror. I am motivated by compliments I receive. I am motivated by the success of others. I am motivated by my DH & DS. Sometimes my thinking holds me back. It tells me I can't do this, I'll never achieve my goal, I can't find healthy food here, I don't have time to exercise, I don't have time to journal, I don't have time to research good options, etc.

Julie, you have had some great questions this week!

the what I've gained side way outweighs the what I've given up side.

Good morning friends! I'm working again today, so I won't be on much. This thread has DEFINITELY slowed down lately....which is great for those of us with limited computer time! :thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Shawn!!! :yay:

Wow.... I guess I don't have much to share. Things are going just fine here. Busy swim meet weekend ahead (again), but that will be it for most of the big meets for the rest of the season unless DD makes a YMCA New Englands qualifying time.

TTYL....................P

QOTD 2/17 -

Along this journey, things have happened to us, I believe that give us the strength and motivation to keep going. What is your motivation? Likewise, there are things that hold us back from true success. What is holding you back?

Tough questions, but definitely, I think, worth pondering.

Thanks for coaching this week, Julie! You've had some interesting, thought provoking questions! :flower3:

I'm the one who holds myself back but I'm better at not sabotaging myself than I used to be. Even when things are in the house, like ice cream and chips and they don't even call my name anymore, unless I'm really tired or stressed. My big motivation right now is the Princess! princess: I have another half marathon for the end of May so I don't lose my momentum when I return.

Sorry about that, Shawn! I'm getting mixed up with the various races! Hope that you birthday is a great one! :bday:

dona, enjoy your evening in the big city! :flower3:

Woo hoo! :woohoo:princess:

Pamela, considering your Fall I think a few weeks of regular, old boring domestic bliss is a good thing! :flower3:

Today was my WW weigh in day -- down 2 pounds for my 10 lb star! :yay:

Have a great day DONALDS! :donald:

The household is finally on the mend. Zoe's fever dropped back down to her norm yesterday but no infections and temp is staying under 100 pretty nicely meds free. Well I only gave her Motrin on one night to help her sleep and because it was approaching 103. I believe low grade fevers should be left to do their job. I'm just glad she is feeling better. She had yesterday off and was up and about more and eating some but not back to normal on that yet. Slept much better the last 2 nights.

Its been rough on me I've had little energy. No really muscle aches or anything but just a general weaker tired feeling so I've not been exercising. Going for Walk Away the Pounds today though. I gotta get the habit back up. I'm afraid I may have to post a gain this week. Although I haven't been that hungry the foods I have eaten have not been the best choices(quick fixes like frozen pizza, corn dogs blah) I did have a couple meals where I ate more because I felt better. Some higher in calories and was drinking Powerade to stay hydrated which upped my calories. This morning was up 3 lbs from last week but I have missed my BP pill too and I suspect I may be retaining water. OPPS This virus sure has thrown me off my routines. So I hope there isn't much damage to report this weigh in. I may hold off and see what Sat or Sun bring for weigh in. Try to get in some exercise and target goal eating days along with my BP(water pill) and see how it is then.

Hope everyone is doing well. :goodvibes I'm off to read some but want to get to my WATP in a short while, now to see if I can make the whole 45 minutes. And I have laundry but I'll get in some personals when I get that all going/done.

Thanks Lisa! You are the best! I'm hoping to pick one up this weekend :) Can't wait to get an accurate reading scale!

David Thanks for the great information about Heart Rate Monitors! Along with my scale I will be shopping for one this weekend. If I run into some difficulties I would love to PM you some questions if you don't mind.

Dona I am sooo jealous! Enjoy dinner and the show in the city! I have tickets for Wicked in April along with a nice dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday.

:woohoo: Happy Birthday Shawn!!! :woohoo:

It is a balmy day here in NJ!! We are finally melting some of the snow so we are in turn getting some parking spaces back :cool1: After my wacky stomach flu  I am trying to get back to the gym. Went last night and trained with my trainer for a 1/2 hour and did a 1/2 hour on the treadmill. I really want to walk/jog outside so it looks like tomorrow is my opportunity. I'm planning a trip to the gym this evening after looking for a car for my roommate (he's becoming a royal pain in my butt because he won't make a decision on how much he is willing to spend!). Hopefully healthy dinner will be in order if I can get myself to lunch before my next meeting!

Have a great day Donalds!
