Morning Cousins. I haven't posted since last week, but did check the thread each day. Just didn't have much to say.
Jen---Sorry life hasn't gotten better for you. Here is a
and some
Debra--- My favorite places to hid things that I don't want to deal with is in the closet. Out of sight out of mind. I have no advice to get your running mojo back, but I'm sure you will get it back before you know it.
Mel--- So it is hot and gross in Fl. Creativebeth and I are leaving for a conference on Sat in Orlando so I guess we will be doing the TM at the hotel instead of outside. I just finished Jimmy Buffet "Swine Not" now that was light and fluffy. I have to get Janet Evanovich new Stephanie Plum book "Fearless Fourteen" I would be for a book club. At this point I know I could follow through on that, unlike my weight loss program.
Hi Dave-- How is Erica doing?
A big shout out to Jeanne. Less than 2 months until we are
and
.
I am enjoying doing so many different classes at the gym and less walking. Already this week I have done spin classes, strength training, Aerobic interval class, pilates, elipical and walking. My body is less sore so I must be getting used to the new routine after a month. I am really dreading in Sept starting back to training for the half and increasing my walking as I will have to drop alot of these classes. Of course, maybe by then I will be tired of all these classes. I just wish the scale would move.
Have a great day everyone.
Nancy

And neighbors that peep? How gross!
ixiedust:
I'll play the world's smallest violin for myself now. haha.
But I do so love to read--and the fluffier, the better, especially in summer. I'm in, regardless! How about Maria? She reads more that I almost anyone I know--and has very eclectic taste!! Speaking of reading, I just finished Matthew Pearl's The Dante Club, a fictionalized, historical thriller of the Boston group. Stronger in concept than in execution, I think.
That's worth a new book and a a side trip to Disney, I think. And you and Beth never get time off together, if I remember correctly. I really think all the XT you're doing sounds exciting. I really need to consider how I might be able to adjust my schedule to fit in some classes that I've been eyeing. I'm sure the scale will budge soon, considering how much activity and variety as you're been getting.
I hear you're doing well with your walking and liking the veggie lifestyle!

We are very excited to have a new cousin! We love to read, we're a little wacky and home of the "cougars" (that's the way us newly 40 and over 40 gals try to stay positive
). If you go way, way, back at the beginning of the thread, we have introductions. Or just jump in where we are, we're good with that, too!
'cause we are family!
