Teacher discounts only for US teachers?

Quick question, not sure if anyone will know the answer to this one though.

Are the teacher discounts at Swan and Dolphin available to ALL teachers or only the American ones?

I know that military discounts are for US personnal only so I'm wondering if these other lower prices are the same.

Hi Louise
No the discount is for all teachers - I made use of it 2 years ago and it was wonderful! I took my id badge and a pay slip and it was no problem - even got upgraded to a better view each time. Also mentioned at check in it was my birthday next day. Well as I went to sort out e tickets my Mum went to the room. The check in person phoned up to our room and asked my mum would I be embarrassed if he did something for my birthday. Well when I returned after e night (1am in the morning of my birthday) there was a huge trolley covered in pixie dust and a gorgeous birthday cake for me. It was a very special moment!

How much discount do teachers get staying at the Swan or Dolphin?

The Swan teacher rate is $149 (due to new renovations). The Dolphin is $129 until renovation is complete when the rate will go to $149. It is a great deal for the deluxe resorts.

Thanks for the information wendym . That's good news. I'm hoping to get a nice reduction for a possible October trip. Lovely surprise for your birthday too! That's another great thing about Disney, they just go that extra mile to make things special.
