my sister likes a good cup of tea can you tell me if there is a place that has diffrent tastes of tea :confused3

When it was cold last week, we ordered lots and lots of hot tea in various restaurants. Several just brought regular Lipton tea bags, but I noticed that even in the same restaurant that was serving Lipton, another waitress would bring out a Twinnings tray full of choices. It is worth asking if there are choices.

The best tea that we found was in a kiosk in Animal Kingdom - Royal Anandapur Tea Company. They had my favorite white tea - I order off the Internet and have never seen it in the "wild" before (though I am not from a big hot tea area).

I think the best tea in Disney is the loose-leaf offerings they have at some of the restaurants. I am particularly enamored with the Vanilla Rooibos!

I recall seeing them at Sanaa, Citricos, Artist Point, Jiko, and Narcoossee's.

Sanaa and Jiko will be very convenient for you since you're staying at AKL.

X2 :thumbsup2. Just be careful -- it comes to you HOT and doesn't cool down much for several minutes.

Has anyone ever ordered a tea to go at Jiko's or a similar restaurant? I love the options, am staying there, and would like to just grab a tea for the evening.

There's also the High Tea at the Grand Floridian, which is very good, if your sister would be into that. They have a pretty wide range of different teas.

If things haven't changed, I ordered loose-leaf Eros in a French press at Jiko. It was the same tea I ordered at the Garden View Lounge tea at the GF.

If you read through the menus on allearsnet.com, you will see that several restaurants offer either French press tea or sachets of good tea (I think the Wave offers the sachets, but I don't remember for sure...)

I can't believe that no one has mentioned that you can get tea at Fish Shop and at the Rose and Crown at Epcot. I know it says "fish and chips" but they also serve *real* tea and will offer you milk and lemon (unless you ask for Earl Grey in which case they know better).

sounds good to me :dance3:

Just a side note for those that don't always want "hot" tea.....the best "iced" tea we had was at Nine Dragons. ::MinnieMo
