Tea bags at Resort question

We have the Dining plan.

I need a cup of tea to start my morning. Is there teabags to pick up to make tea at the QS restaurants at the resort? Can I get a specialty tea bag (eg English Breakfast) or are there other general brand teabags to get that is included in the Dining Plan?

And are the sugar and milk located at the soda stations?

We are staying at CBR and AoA if that matters.

Twinings English Breakfast is the regular tea bag at resorts. Some have a wider selection. Milk and sugar are available at stations.

So, can I just grab one for free as my drink that is included with the Dining Plan? Or do I have to pay for it?

Of course its never "free" your drink is included in the price of the dining plan. Of course you also get a refillable mug that includes refills of soda, hot tea and coffee and iced tea. So best option at the food court is to use the refill mug.

The refillable mug is fantastic. I bought one without a dining plan during my last visit. I was really surprised that unlimited hot tea was included. You just have to go ask at the register for a tea bag. A definite recommend!

There will also be a coffee pot with tea bags (if I remember correctly there are 2) in your room at CBR. Won't be one at AoA.

I love tea in the mornings, too - but there's not much variety in the ones offered in the resort QS. Tip: stop by The Tea Caddy shop in the UK in Epcot. They usually have single tea bag samples for free, for a variety of seasonally flavored teas. They'll gladly give you a sample tea bag or two. I stop here every time I walk by and grab a sample tea bag for the next morning. :)

Really? I have been there and I loved the UK pavilion. Didn't know they give out free samples.
This is great tip!! Thanks!!

The tea bags are located near the cash register. You can either use it as a drink with your meal or bring your refillable mug, show it to the CM and fill it up.

In the past, when I've gotten a cold at Disney, I would bring my mug down as well as one of the styrofoam cups they give you in the room. I hate lugging my mug around, so I'd show the mug, get the tea, then fill the styrofoam cup. I'd drop the mug back at the room before leaving for the park and ditch the cup when I'm done. Hope that suggestion helps!

At the contemporary they have the tea bags next to the hot water and drink station for anyone to grab. They have quite a few different ones to pick from.

They are in the black box in the photo.

I always bring my own from home, I'd hate to be disappointed with the selections.

I'm sorry to admit, I'm a bit of a tea snob. Since tea is so lightweight, I tend to always pack a few of my favourites, just in case. I enjoy trying new teas, though. So I always take a look at a selection, and if I don't like any- simply add my own. Of course, this proclivity is usually tempered when dining at a signature restaurant. At a quick-service/cafe or my own room, "suuuubstituuuutiary steeping notions" are employed to keep my tea experience magical.
