OMG, I don't know what it is, but I am OBSESSED with this guy! I must so totally get over this!

That said...on Fox.com, at the FoxNow link, they are conducting a poll for favorite male finalists and the last I checked he has like 70%!

Even more...the Idol message boards are structured somewhat like these. There is a board for each contestant with a "number of posts" count to the right. Taylor's message board contains 300,000 more posts than the next highest.

So, while I'm concerned about this obsession of mine, apparantly I'm not alone! Am I??

When's the tour, when's the CD?!?!?! Wooo!

And while I realize that this might belong on the official Idol thread, I just kinda thought to myself "I'm going to give Taylor his own thread, dangit." Apologies if there already has been one.

This is pretty much what I think too. Granted, I miss as many shows (or more) than I see, but I always like him. DD18, on the other hand, is the exact opposite.

I will have to say that I'm a little surprised he's gotten this far. I'm glad he has though.

There's definitely something about him. He's sexy but not in a traditional Brad Pitt sorta way. I think it's his eyes that are the feature that gets, umm, my attention.

I'm a little embarassed to say this, but I had a similar obsession with Bucky. I even had a dream about him (sorry, I can't give details )

For me personally, it's not that type of attraction. I do love that salt and pepper hair though. He just demonstrates such incredible passion for music and to me it is contagious.

I love Taylor. I don't think he's the best one for the title, but to watch him makes me smile. He's such a "lovin' life" kinda guy...always smiling, and very passionate about his music. I love to watch him sing and dance because it's obvious that he truly loves what he's doing. And I also find him absolutely adorable...I love salt and pepper hair on men. Ignore my tag(sorry TF), I'd take Taylor any day over Dr. Dreamy(the TF wasn't paying alot of attention to my post on secret crushes....sshhhh).

That's honesty? I call it an opinion, and everyone has one.

I don't understand why MANY people find others attractive, there are PLENTY of threads on people I find not only unattractive but REPULSIVE but realize that everyone has a right to their own taste.

Note, I don't even OPEN the threads. If someone likes someone I don't ask them WHY, it's their opinion.

I LOVE Taylor. On the AI thread there are lots of people who prefer Chris or Bucky and I don't but know that there is a type for everyone. I find him quirky, soulful and an individual. I love gravely voices and his is just up my alley. Without him I would've quit AI a long time ago.

I am sitting first class in the Taylor Hicks Love Train!

I am so excited that they are coming to the Richmond Coliseum and I feel like a teenager because I'm thinking "I have to be right there to order tickets when the line opens so I can get as close to the front as possible!!!"

Something about how much he loves entertaining and loves music is just infectious to me. I hope that if he doesn't win (and TPTB keep stacking the deck to make it difficult for him to win) he gets signed by a recording studio that allows him to be more "himself" than what the American Idol contract would do to him.

Mickeyfan - Nigel said Taylor was off last week and he thought it was because they made him change his song choice with one day till the show. He was supposed to sing "Try a Little Tenderness" and had practiced that song. Well apparently with 24 hours to go, they came to him and said it wasn't appropriate because they couldn't see Bocelli singing it. Like Bocelli would sing that Bryan Adams song? Please. The other night he was off - country night? Same thing. One days' notice to change his song because they decided that the artist he picked (Hank Williams Jr.) was not "idol" material.
