Taxi Question

Hi - I will be staying at the Hampton Inn, Lake Buena Vista for five days in March. I don't have a car, but most days I will be going to Disney with my sister and BIL (who are at the Residence Inn, Lake Buena Vista) in their car. However, it is possible that one evening, I may stay at Epcot later than they want to. My question - are cabs readily available outside Epcot, or do I have to call for one? And, if so, what are reliable cab companies? And, what would the approximate cost be? Thanks so much.

The taxi stand is located at the bus stop area, there are usually cabs there waiting for fares. Cost of cab from EPCOT to the Hampton Inn (on Palm Pkwy) should be approx $16-$18 plus tip.

If you will be in the World Showcase area you may want to exit at the International Gateway. This is near Great Britain. Once you exit there you just take a five minute walk straight ahead to the Beach Club, which will be on your right. Enter the resort and walk through the lobby to the street side exit. You will find taxis waiting there (as at all WDW resorts). If one is not waiting the Cast Member on duty outside will call and get one for you right away.
