We're staying at a Downtown Disney hotel which charges $10 per night for parking. Add Universal parking, we're already at $25 per day for parking alone. Estimates for car rental would be around $40-$50 per day. Let's say it will cost us $65-$75 per day.
We're contemplating about just using a taxi for the days we go to Universal Studios. The Mears website estimates $29 one way, so with tips and back to the hotel fare, we're looking at similar costs, around $70 per day.
