Taxi after Wishes

I really want to stay a couple of nights to see Wishes at MK when we go in March but DS16 really does not appreciate fireworks and absolutely hates waiting for a bus (we are at Pop). Can I get a taxi after Wishes? How would I go about doing that? Do the taxis come up where the buses are or would I have to go to TTC?

You would have to go to TTC or one of the resort hotels.

Taxis are stationed in the disabled parking at the MK. Yes, you would be able to get a taxi to the airport or the resort from there. Usually the taxis, Mears Checker cabs, are stacked in the parking lot ready for the MK to close up.

You have to go through the TTC first, and that usually involves a long wait to get on the monorail after Wishes. Hardly worth it.

What I would do: watch Wishes from mid Main Street, then high tail it out of there as soon as Wishes ends. With just the two of you and no stroller to worry about you can make really good time. Get in the bus line for Pop. You'll be on the first or second bus out of there and back to the room before you know it.
