E are new to DVC and wondering do we get anything for taxes from Disney? We are not florida residents. Sorry a little lost and hope some one can help!

If you have a loan with DVC, the mortgage interest might be deductible.

The actual property taxes paid for 2013 might also be deductible.

You should be able to find that information when you log into the DVC member site.

If you don't itemize, then there is nothing to worry about - you would not deduct anything.

Not sure which side of the tax spectrum you are thinking about. If you are asking whether you pay resort taxes everytime you reserve the answer is no. You are an owner reserving your own place for which there is no resort use tax that applies to renters. If, however, you rent your points, you are actually responsible for charging and withholding resort taxes from the renter and paying those over to the govenrment authorities.

On the other side of the spectrum, your annual dues include property taxes. The portion you pay for any given year as property taxes is set out in the dues statements and you can deduct the property taxes you pay on your annual tax return if you itemize deductions
