We will be on the DDP in August and I have been looking at a few of the menus and some say tax is included in buffet price, and others no. Can someone help clarify this for me? :confused3 I like to put my tip envelopes together before I leave and I want to be sure I have the correct tip and either not enough or way toooooooo much:headache:
Thank you:goodvibes

You will need to tip at each sit down meal. Other than that your Dining Plan will cover everything else, all you will have to do is tip. Another thing to keep in mind is, your tip will already be made out for you, you don't figure that number out on your own in Disney. Your waiter or waitress will bring over a bill at the end of your meal to show you what it would've cost.. and trust me you'll be happy to have that Dining Plan at that time LOL! but at the bottom it will list the dollar amount you must leave for a tip. Disney makes it real simple :) and than you may leave it in your envelope on your way out. Enjoy!!

Buffet prices tend to end in .99 or .95 as in $25.99 so that would be the price without the tax. If you come across a website where the price has an odd amount such as $27.68 that would be including tax.

Allears tends to note whether the price does or doesn't include tax on the menu page, although it varies with the restaurant and the price quoted may not be up to date.

The hardest thing will be finding accurate/current prices since most websites that have menus are dependent on readers submitting the information.

The amount on the receipt is the SUGGESTED amount. You don't have to leave that amount.
