Tastiest quick/counter service places at resorts and DTD?

I agree that WPE has gone down hill. In DTD I think Earl of Sandwich is the best food but I dont know if they have a vegetarian option

We usually hit WPE at least twice a trip. This year we went once and I doubt we will go back. The menu has been cut way back and the portion sizes are reduced.

When was this? I was there in July and my Chicken Pesto Focaccia was HUGE.

I vote for Earl of Sandwich :thumbsup2

LOVE it there. They have a Caprese sandwich that is rumored to be delish.

I'm not sure when it happened. We noticed it from the the trip we just got back from, so I ate there less than two weeks ago. We went in March and I can't remember if we ate there or not, but I'm sure we ate there in December and it was fine then. So it must've happened after the first of the year. One of my favorites, the Warm Beef and Cheddar sandwich was off the menu, as were several other sandwiches. The portion sizes are still decent, but DH's Chinois salad was quite a bit smaller, as was DS chicken alfredo and my mac & cheese. Also no salads with the pasta dishes and no bread with the alfredo.

love the responses so far since i am in the same boat - looking for cheap veggie options.

So far we are planning on:
Sandwich of Earl caprese
Captain Cook's tonga toast
Starring Rolls Cafe (in Hollywood Studios) with bagels, pastries, coffee
Adventureland's Egg Roll stand (with vegetarian for $2)
Beaches & Cream veggie wraps & burgers
Animal Kingdom Picnic in the Park bag with veggie wraps
thinking about Wolfgang Puck express too now
