Anyone get a free Tassimo in the mail? I did!!! I used to have one, I gave it away and today....one showed up with a note that says free, no strings attached direct from Tassimo. I am shocked, I never get/win anything.

Although no one here drinks coffee. I want to give the thing away, but (a) the box is big and kinda heavy, so I don't feel like dragging it anywhere, and (b) after you go through the coffee that came with it, I assume you have to buy more of the same type to fit it. I figure that's why they sent out the free machines.

I also got one - ironic because our Keurig is dying and I'm waiting for their Customer Service to reply to an e-mail I sent them the day before the Tassimo showed up. (In another thread I said "file this under "are they reading my e-mails?"".)

I went ahead and registered it for the free boxes of T-discs. If our Keurig doesn't get replaced, I just might move over to the Tassimo, but they don't have so many choices in coffee and they don't look like you can get them as many places or for very good prices.

They definitely make most of their money from the discs not the machines - but I looked it up and the machine is priced at $129.

No the Keurig was our first (and only) single serve maker. Now I have 2 on my counter too! Stupid Keurigs though keep breaking - many people have received multiple free replacements from Keurig - and I knew that when we bought it, but their manufacturing problem was supposed to be fixed. Guess not because now mine has the same problem (it's about 8 months old - not filling the cups fully anymore).

I got one too! DH is thrilled, I don't drink coffee, but looking forward to some hot chocolate though.

Wow wish I would have gotten a free one! Just bought one before Christmas, and love it. It makes cappuccinos and lattes where the Kuerig doesn't.

Wow, that is really strange how people are just receiving these in the mail. I WISH I'd get one. Wanted one for Christmas but received a Keurig instead. At first I said I wanted a Keurig, but then discovered the Tassimo after it was too late. The Tassimo makes latte drinks while the Keurig does not.

If anyone receives one that doesn't want it, I'd gladly pay shipping for it!

I was inspired by akcire. I contacted the closest Ronald McDonald House and asked if they wanted it. They did, so I shipped it to them today.

For anyone else thinking of shipping and trying to calculate shipping costs:
the package weights 9.1 pounds
The dimensions are 23 x 11 x 16

It cost me $9.33 to ship via FedEx Ground. However, since it's a fairly close distance, they are supposed to receive it on Monday.
