Tasers in the World?

No need for a taser. Just bring a big stroller. It's all you'll need. :teeth:

is it legal to carry in florida..is my first question:thumbsup2....and if you carry daily than I would carry....:thumbsup2

This thread is making me laugh so much. Oh, what I would give to know what sort of crazy stuff security has found in people's bags and pockets.

Can this be a reality show? Or at least a documentary about what goes on with Disney security? I would watch the heck out of that.

You can train yourself in martial arts and then you don't have to worry about them not letting you bring your defensive weapon into the park,
No one else will have a weapon - you will have nothing to defend yourself against.

I find a good chop to the throat pays off :rotfl:

I like the smaller strollers. We can zip in, clip a few heels and get out before anyone notices. ;)

Hahahaha! :rotfl2: Maybe that's why people want tasers!

My advice then would be don't start a subject if you don't want a debate. I don't know what is going on in some individuals lives so I try to avoid telling them what makes them feel secure.

And I feel completely comfortable saying that if you can't go someplace where there is ample security and a very low instance of personal crime without a weapon, yes, you need to see someone to address your anxiety. Because, frankly, looking to circumvent posted rules for your own safety in a place where safety measure and security are provided is abnormal.

Tasers in the World. Worst...attraction...ever.

Well, except for Expedition Ebola. It goes downhill fast, but people are still dying to ride it.

This not the place to debate whether a tazer or a gun is a defensive weapon or a weapon at all.
Guns & Tazers are not allowed in the parks, hence there have been no shootings or tazers used in the parks and as such no need to bring your own to fire back.

I'm just amazed that gun right advocates haven't started a campaign on Disney like they do every other place you have no business with a gun.

The minute the Right to Carry proponents start hauling their AR-15s around the parks is the minute Disney loses ALL of my money.

The likelihood of that happening is equal to the likelihood of me being allowed to bring in an H-bomb. :rotfl:

Oy vey. Whatever state law is, Disney can make their own rules. And they have. No need to cancel trips yet.

Great Idea!! I can never beat my nephew! So next time we get into the ride vehicle, all I have to do is tase him!!! I smell victory at last!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Actually I was thinking of tasing the targets...but whatever ya gotta do;)

Please remember this is Disney. It's "Don't tase be B'rer...and throw me into that briarpatch." :earsboy:

This is one thing I don't think we have to worry about. I'm pretty confident Disney, unlike other businesses, will not cave on their no weapons policy. But I am surprised they haven't taken any flack over it.

Makes you wonder tho- seems everyone feels safe at Disney and one reason I see a lot is that it's because no one is allowed to carry weapons....hmmmmm;)

It does not matter what the law in Florida is. WDW is private property; their house their rules...simple. Break the rules, get caught, and get a FP+ to meet the officer dressed in green and exchange your magicband for bracelets of silver.

I don't think you would be handcuffed. Ejected from the park? Sure!

At the risk of edging too far OT... The idea that safety (low crime) correlates with strict laws against carry is false based on stats, from what I understand (eg DC, Chicago, etc).

I'd guess most people feel safe at WDW because they know they have pretty solid security including plain clothes. And we all know Disney has a HUGE financial incentive to keep parks safe.

Now... keeping a weapon out of the hands of someone who would judge one to be NECESSARY in WDW?? Yes. That does make me feel safer. :)
