Tarzan Rocks or Lion King?

Lion King hands down!!!!! Best show ever!!!!!

Definately Lion King. I, like a previous poster, always missed the Tarzan Show on my preious trips but this summer made a point to make sure I saw it.

I thought the singing was awful, (not sure if it was the singers or just the sound was so lousy) too loud, no story line to follow and my DD (9) was just plain bored and wanted to leave and she is VERY easily entertained.

However, Tarzan was a bit of pleasing "eye-candy" .

Lion King!

Tarzan stunk, the only thing good about it was the music.

FOTLK was definitely batter. Tarzan was so disjointed. There was no story or flow to the show. The music was good and the roller skating was good but the 2 seemed to have nothing in common.

Also avoid this at all costs if the weather is hot!! The theater is outside (although covered) We went on a day that wasnt too hot out side (mid 80s) But the theater must have been over 100. I was faint from the heat towards the end of the show.

We LOVE Tarzan!!!!
The Lion King is Good too, but we prefer Tarzan.

It's a hard decision, but in the end I'd have to pick the Lion King. They have pretty cool gymnastic stuff! Tarzan Rocks is great too, but in the end its definately Lion King!

Lion King is a great show, Tarzan we only found to be "ok". A little off subject, but we thought the Jungle Book show that Tarzan Rocks replaced was excellent--would love to see that one return!

I love Tarzan Rocks! My DD4 does as well. We go to AK just to see it (and the safari). Tarzan is a definite hottie for all the ladies out there. Plus, I love the music and the rollerbladers. I thought FOTLK was just ok. We saw it on our first trip to AK, didn't bother to see it again on our second trip. If we have time, we'll do it again next time, but if not I won't miss it. I will definitely be at Tarzan though.

Honestly, I did not like Tarzan Rocks at all. We had never managed to have time for it in all of our trips, so on our last trip, I was determined to see it. Saw it, was tempted to leave early, won't do it again.

I'm with KBKids: Festival of the Lion King winds hands down. We will frequently go twice in a visit, sometimes in the same day!

Tarzan Rocks! is OK, but eminently missable unless you have tons of extra time. Really, Tarzan on rollerblades?! Come on.

i love tarzan! i think it's bc i always develop a crush on the lead male singer. i remember when the show first opened and PHILLIP sang. i was in love with him. i have about 6 videos of his performance and he would always play to my camera. i swear he is going to be one of those superstars that gets his start in disney and i have the before they were rock stars footage to prove it!

Lion King is a Broadway-style production - they don't necessarily follow the story, but they showcase the music through singing, dancing and acrobatics.

Tarzan Rocks is like a concert with stunts.

They're both fun.

We love FOTLK and see it several times each trip.

We saw Tarzan once and even my youngest said he never wanted to see it again.

We saw Tarzan once and enjoyed it even though it was kinda loud. I too, would much rather watch Tarzan than have a root canal.

We always see Lion King, every trip, occasionally more than just once. I prefer the Simba section...

Tarzan is a good show, but Lion King is an "experience" not to be missed.

Without a doubt, we prefer FOTLK. It's a must see! Sometimes we go twice in the same day to see it! The tumble monkeys are the best!

We LOVE Festival of the Lion King. We make it a point to see it at least once on our Disney trips. We saw Tarzan Rocks once--and that was more than enough for us. UGH!!
