I was in Target today and there are a ton of toys marked down 30% to 50% off. I know they usually do toy markdowns on Thursday. Can we expect 75% off toy clearance tomorrow???? Seems like they started the markdowns early this year.

I was in a local Target today and it was still 15-30% (although marked 30% on signs).

There was a lego set my son wanted for his b-day that was under a sign that said "30% or more" but was only 15%. When I asked one of the employees in that department if it was really 30 or 15 she got NASTY with me. So I finished my shopping and went to customer service to complain. Not about the mismarked stuff (really, if it is under the sign, it better be that much off, if not MOVE it!) but to complain at how nasty this person was. The manager ended up giving it to me for 30% off, which is not why I complained, but it was nice that he did that! So I got the lego set at 30%!!

Should be next week or in two weeks. It's never this early.

I would really check tomorrow as I know the 4 Targets I was in today were all getting toys set up for the big mark down. I know that at the latest the markdowns happen the 12th or so as I always make it on or before my daughter's birthday. I will be there in the morning checking prices.

Ours had a lot of stuff at 75% already yesterday. I snagged some things at 50% just because I had a feeling they wouldn't be there at 75%. Got a train table for DS's birthday for $40 after 50% off, the whole tracks/bridge/accessory set for $10 (was originally $40), a woooden Thomas railway starter set for $10 (was $40) and a bunch of Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake sets for $7.50 (originally $30) to put away for birthday parties. Some of the Lego sets were already 50% off. They had the Rapunzel stacking table and chairs set for $12.50, but I didn't get one because DD is really too old for it at this point. The funny thing is that I checked 2 Targets that are 3 miles apart, and the prices for toys were all over the place. One had the same toys 50% less than the other. The associates said it varies by individual stores when they mark things down; it's not set by corporate. I could have gotten a lot more stuff, but I tried to be careful to choose only things I knew we would be able to use for birthday gifts this year - stuff that doesn't go out of style, really.

Ours has about 3 isles and some scattered in as of today. I picked up some mini Robosapiens for $4 each. My son wanted a big one for Christmas but he's too young. This one, even though it's not remote controlled, will be fun, I think. The extras will be saved for birthday gifts or to donate for Toys for Tots next Christmas. I got U-Build Sorry for $5, Ben 10 Alien Maker for $32 but after reading the reviews when I got home, I'm taking it back (it was to be for my son). We have a birthday party we're going to on Monday and the kid wanted some of those mini skate boards. They had some for $2.48 each. I got 2 and then got a bigger, non-clearance one that will store the others.

Not a bad haul but I've done better in other years.

DS's 2nd birthday is in March so I got a big Dinosaur Train T-rex for $26 and a Little Tikes soccer goal set for $20. I think both were 30% off. While I was shopping our Target was setting up the aisles. Looks like they'll have 3 clearance toy aisles. I may go back tonight to see if there is anything marked down more.

Was at my Target yesterday and the large dinosaur from Dinosaur Train was 17.50. Too bad I dont have a lil boy to buy it for.

Aw. Bummer! Will have to go back and check our tonight to see if they marked them down any more. :)

There is a pretty good mix of 30 and 50% off here in St. Pete. I expect another couple of week and hopefully some will be 75% off. And there is a lot of toys left!!

I was so bummed today, I was in our Local Target and everything is still only 30-50% off, I would love to score 75% off toys!

I went this morning around 9 and they were in the process of stocking the shelves and marking down some of the toys from 30% to 50% off. They only 75% off items I as able to find were some arts and craft type things. I plan to go again next Thursday morning and hopefully they'll be marking down to 75% off :) I might swing by another Target in the area and see what they have going on!

I think someone else on the budget boards said that the Target 75% started on January 13th... that's what I'm planning on :goodvibes

At our Target this afternoon the signs said 30 and 50% off but there was some stuff mixed in that was already down to 75% off. Picked up some Breyer horse sets for 75% off figuring they will make good b'day gifts for all the horse crazy girls we know. Also some rubbery dinosaurs were marked down to .78 cents (originally close to 4 bucks). $20 dress up dresses were down to $5. Schleighs were 50% off but selection was already limited. LPS, Disney, Barbies, MLP etc. were all still at 50%. Still, 50% off isn't bad considering how good of a selection there still was.
Good Hunting ;)

I went in tonight to look, since DS turns 5 in March. I found the TS3 Evil Dr. porkchop playset (which is $50 on Amazon right now) for $25 and the Matchbox Mega Rig TS3 train set marked down from $40 to $20. Can't wait to see DS play with them... now all I need are a few troll dolls so Woody can save "the orphans" :rotfl:

Thanks for posting this. I went to a different Target tonight and found the T-Rex for less than I paid the other day, so I'll return the other one. :) Also got a doctor set for $5, an ice cream color game for about $6.50, a bucket of dinos for $5, and a Disney Princess scooter for $22. Woo!

Some various 75% items scattered in with the 50/30% stuff at our Target. So far I've found the Our Generation doll house ($15), 2 Tag Jr. books, ($2.74), these items were 75% off. Also, Polly Pocket set ($2.44) and MLP ponyville mermaid figures ($2.42); these were 50% off but I know they wouldn't have lasted long. I've got my eyes on a few other items so hopefully it'll pan out.

Picked up a remote control tarantula (by Uncle Milton who makes the "Moon in my Room" and "Rainbow in my Room" toys) @ $8.48 which is 50% off, at a Target down the road. Later today I saw it for only 30% off ($11-something) at my local Target so I'm glad I got it when I did! (It's a birthday present for DS' friend so I don't even have to put up with it, LOL).

Also got 3 electronic Rubiks Cubes for 50% off, $4.98 each (one to put away for DS and two for his twin friends who are having a birthday party Sunday). So I was pleased. ;)

No luck with Color Wonder mini-packs discounted at either store though...sigh...
