Well, no such luck with the Hasbro coupons at my local Target today.

I had the $5 off of Hungry Hippos coupon (it said $4 off with a multiple game purchase) and I also had $5 off Connect 4x4. The coupons wouldn't scan. The manager came over and said I couldn't use them...I had the travel Connect 4 and he said it had to be the large Connect 4x4 game and the other coupon said $4 off one game, in a multiple game purchase. So I'm SOL. The kid did input 3 $4 off coupons before the manager came over, though. So I paid 99 cents for 3 games. I need like 20 for party favors! I guess that's out of the question...unless I try a different Target.

OMG, I NEED to stay out of Target. Was ther Monday getting meds so shopped a little. Back today for one thing and a return.

So they didn't have the thing I went for but TONS of SBing stuff 75% off and partywear 50% off. Plus I bought a ton of SBing stuff at the $ spot. Also housewears on sale 75% OFF. I got 2 boxes of goblets for less than $4 for . Now I want to go to another store to look for another pack plus the silverwear sets. Hoping they have more selection at a bigger store. My spoons keep disappearing ad out of 2 sets of silverwear (12 and 8 sets) I only have 6 little spoons.

But , I could never do it without my DisBudgeters!!
I went to Target today with coupons and lists in hand.. I was organized and ready, although I had the little ones with and usually it's harder to concentrate with help.... anyway...

I had $85 in my pocket and left my debit card & checkbook at home. (On purpose, mind you, I know that once I step foot inside a Target my mind becomes controlled by someone else....

So I go to check out and before coupons total is $158 and I start to think, " Oh girl, you bit off more than you can chew this time." The total, after coupons, was $68.97... and I have $15 in GC to use later! I was so pumped!!

Here's a few things..
The Crystal light- got 2 at .68 ea.- used $2/2 and got overage.
Crest white strips clearance for $4.24- $5/1 and got overage.
Gillette shavers bought 2 at $7.97 each- $4/1 + $1/1 + $4/1 + $1/1 + Got a $5 GC.
GE CFL Light bulbs $2 - $1/1
M&Ms, Snickers, Skittles $2.50 ea. - $1/2+ $1/3+ $1/1
Alli $47.29 - $15/1 + $10 GC (thought I'd try it for that $)
Couple more poptarts since the .75 Q expired today.
Nature Valley nut Clusters $2.50 - $1.60/1 - got 3, I love those things!
Tide Stain release $3.74 - $1.50/1 + $1/1
Fiber One granola bars 2 pk on clearance .78 -$.50/1

OK, there was more but I can't remember it all, and I can't remember which Q were Target or Manuf. but I know it was fun. And when I apologized for the wait to the lady behind me in line she said it was entertaining and she's gonna go clip some coupons! I told her to come see the DISBOARDS!

On a side note, when I told DH that I had saved about half on a $150 worth of stuff he looked at me and said..." you mean you just spent $70 at Target, again?" He totally missed the point!

Got 2 Disney Pix Digital Frames today for 75% off. They are the 7" digital frames with the interchangable plates of Pirates of Caribbean and Cars. Regular $74.99 got them for $18.98 They were not on an end cap just on the bottom shelf with the other digital frames. You can easily make additional faceplates to match any decor. Got one for 10 yr old neice who is becoming harder to buy for!

Sorry you couldn't get all the coupons to work.

But can you or someone tell me where you actually found the games? Went to two stores, one more store to check, and didn't see them!

Both times I had to hurry in and out and as luck and couldn't find anyone to even ask.

I got a great deal on Purina One dog food yesterday. Reg price was 10.49, sale price was 9.49. I found a $2 coupon on afullcup and I had a $3 manufacturer coupon. So for 4.49 I bought an 8 lb bag, where normally I would pay about $6 for an 4 lb bag.

I know they were in the Sunday paper either last week or 2 weeks ago. It was the P&G ad. Sorry, I wasn't much help there... Oh, I think the expiration was 10/31 if that helps??

Just a little warning with the Alli. I took the prescription strength product about 7 years ago. You need to make sure you don't eat any more fat then the directions tell you. I'd also highly suggest you first try this product on a day that you are going to be home most of the day and very close to the bathroom.

Now after that little warning, I'm surely jealous of your white strip purchase! I've wanted to buy them but just couldn't justify the cost, even with the $5 coupon.

My best deal at Target was on the Friday's frozen snacks. There was a 2$ coupon in the paper, with them on sale for 2.50$. The steak quesadillas had 1$ off coupon on them, so I could've gotten 50cents back, but I got the potato skins so I could share. The cashier was impressed.

Two weeks ago, publix had a 2$ coupon in their ad, plus buy one get one free, and used the 1$ coupon from the steak thingies, so I paid 25 cents a box.

I was in our Target this morning and got 3 beautiful lamps for 4.98 each. The original price was 29.95. They had no scratches and I have 2 lamp shades at home so they were quite a deal.

I hate the Target near us, I have the cashier and one supervisor who stalks me and gave me the hardest time today. I found the Summer Print Ziploc sandwich bags a 120 count on clearance for $1.63 so I tried to pair them with my $.55 and $1/2 coupons and the Crystal Light for $.68 and use my $2/2 but the supervisor tell the cashier I can't use my coupons on clearance items. So I tell her to put those thing back because I don't want them then she goes on to tell me I can use half of my coupons. So I tell the cashier to just ring up the rest of my purchases and use whatever coupons that scan and I take the others down to guest services and take it up with them. So $150 later I head down to GS and I ask to speak to a manager and ask them where they have their coupons policy posted to the effect of where I can't use my coupons on clearance items and guess what???? There is no such policy, it was just something they told the cashiers to prevent us from saving $$. So I stayed there and waited for another manager who preceeded to tell me I not use my $1/2 any Sauve deodrant because they were only $.97 and the coupons is for $1 and according to her interpretation of the coupon that mean I would be getting $1 off each but since I didn't pay $2 for them I can't use them. I try to explain to her I was not trying to get $2 off but the way the coupon works is I would get $.50 off one and $.50 off the second one. She still refused to accept that is the way the coupon because she still did not understand what $1 off 2 means. Then I have the Clean and Clear face wash from the travel section for $.97 with a $1 coupon but I can't use that one because they can only be used at grocery, drug or discount store and Target was not any of those so per her suggestion I can use it at CVS or Giant store. Since when is Target not a discount store? Anyways I finally get a manager who understand the coupon policy and accepts my coupons and refunds my $$ for the other coupons. The supervisor also tried to tell me I could not use my $1/2 coupon for the Snickers Fun Size 4.4 ounce or larger because the one I picked was 4.65 ounces but she wanted me to purchase the more expensive bag. I said NEGATIVE and pointed out that what I purchased qualifies for the coupon so in the end they refunded me $15 and here is what I made out with:

4-1oz Clean and Clear (free)
6-Sauve Deodrants ($.47 each)
6-Fun sized Snicker bar packages ($.51 each)

I am sorry they gave you a hard time. When I talked to someone at my Target about how they are pretty good about coupons and I hear some horror stories about other stores.. she said " Our manager says why should we argue over a 50 cent coupon when they are spending $100?" Besides, I have actually seen our store managers wife using coupons!!

I'm glad you got some good deals, it just shouldn't take so much effort!

they get reimbursed for the manufacturer coupons so why are they so hard to work with? and if they didn't want us using the Target coupons, why would they have them on their website?

my Target is a hot or miss. We have a few managers here that would prefer NO COUPONS are used.
