Does anyone know what target does for returns that over the 90 day mark, but the box is unopened and I have the receipt?

Thanks!

1. Do they still have the item in stock?
2. If they don't take it, you might try returning it without the receipt, if same price as you paid.
3. Did you buy with a red card? Supposedly, buying with a red card gives you an extra 30 days for returns, but I am noto sure if that's just for the holidays.

You can return it without the receipt and get the current selling price as a merchandise credit. You can return up to a certain amount without a receipt per year. (I think its like $75).

I think the extra 30 days for returns if you used a RedCard is a year-round thing. Kind of like free shipping on any online purchase.

If you didn't use a RedCard, they probably won't take it back after the 90 days. Give it a try and see what they say. If they won't take it back now with the receipt, try again right after Christmas without the receipt. You may not get 100% of what you paid (I think they give store credit of the lowest sale price over the past 90 days or so) but you'll get more than what you would get if they won't process a return at all. :thumbsup2

I've returned a couple of things back to Target over the 30 day mark (only by about 10 days) and they accepted it with the receipt. I think it may be if they have it in stock.
