Going to Target first thing Monday morning - when DS was younger, I loved to get the Christmas videos 1/2 price - do they still mark down Christmas movies/shows 1/2 price?????

They didn't mark the videos/DVDs down last Christmas. I checked for books and videos after Easter and Halloween, and they weren't marked down then either. I think most Target stores just return them. I was very disappointed. The videos were my favorite Target deal. I was able to get a half price DVD set at Wal-Mart. I got the one with Frosty, Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town, and the LIttle Drummer Boy. I'm hoping I can find other DVDs at WalMart this year.

My wife always hits target and gets thing like tissue, paper towels, hot cocoa, soup, cereal -- lots of stuff that you use every day, but in Holiday Packaging!

Target toys NEVER go on a computer markdown to 90% off. It's usually 15, 30, 50, 75. Everything OTHER than seasonal is maxed out at 75% off. Also, a store never goes only to 40% off on Christmas, it's always 50% off the day after Christmas.

Hmm, I'm certain that is not the case in my area. On the day after Christmas last year, I paid $2.39 for wrapping paper that was marked $3.99. That, according to my calculations is 40% off, not 50%. I know I purchased it at Target because I am looking at an unwrapped roll of it right now with the Target Corp UPC and price on it. Most everything else was 50% but this was only 40%. Since I run a business I save every receipt, I went & looked up the one from Target on 12/26/04 & found this UPC on it.

Also--I'm enjoyed watching the prices fall on toys for the last few Januarys. At our local targets, in Rochester NY (specifically Henrietta, Greece & Victor) I have been there when the toys went to 90% off. Last year I was in Henrietta--granted there is not much left to pick from after the 75% off sale hits, but I did gets some Clickits (lego) and a few misc dolls to donate to charity.

Again, not certain what area you are talking about or if you work for the company, but I know what I experienced personally, that is what I am speaking about.

I was going to go and get the small disney princess tree skirt for DD's tree in her bedroom. Well, my mom called me and told me she bought it for her while she was shopping there today. Guess I might stay home where it's nice and warm and relax...

You know, it never even occurred to be to look for everyday stuff in holiday packaging. Well, I always buy some red/green M/Ms on clearance! But I'll have to look for paper towels and stufff. Cool.

does anyone know what the Cottonelle TP looks like? I could stock up that also! Thanks
