Target/Hudsons connected?

I thought I read on a board sometime that Hudson's GC's are redeemable at Target. I know they are owned by the same company. Can anyone confirm this? I'm trying to redeem at GC.com and not having a lot of luck finding something I can use conveniently. I really wanted Rainforest or Marriot like many of you but I'm a little scared to wait too much longer to cash in. Has anyone heard anymore recently about the rumor of GC.com closing? I just don't know what would be best. I
REALLY don't want to lose my earnings!!

I know that you can used to be able to use your Hudson's or Marshall Fields charge card at Target but not the other way around.

It might be easiest to call your nearest Target store and ask them if you could spend a Hudson's gift certificate there.

At the Target store I work at I was told yes we do take Hudson's gift certificates but I still think its best to check with you local store to make sure this is nation wide.

Thanks to all. I did call my closest Target and they do accept Hudson's GC's. Now I've read that Rainforest GC's are back in stock so I'm debating what to do again! Our next trip to WDW is in 2002 and I had read that the Rainforest GC's that people were getting expired 12/01 which won't help me. I did e-mail GC.com about the exp dates but got a canned response about it being my responsibility to use them before they expired!
