Target GC from Raise

Please help me understand. If I buy a $350 Target GC from Raise for 6 percent off and then buy Disney GCs online from Target, I can save 11 percent total if I use my Red Card? I hear so much talk about this, but I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, that's basically correct. Then put those Disney Gift cards into a Disney Vacation Account for 2% more and you are at 13%. See the other thread below.

Thanks for the response. I guess it's a moot point now because I just looked at Target GCs on Raise and they all say Gift cards can't be used to buy other gift cards.

However Target considers Disney GF's as entertainment cards. At least they have in the past.

Just did it yesterday. Load Disney GCs into target cart. Log in online and have your redcard as the default payment.

On the same screen where they ask you to enter your pin, don't do it. Instead, look on the right side and choose "pay with target giftcards". Enter gift card info.

The 5% discount for using your redcard remains, even though you use the Raise GC to pay.
