Target 20% off coupon

What's the deal at SAMs club? We're just getting one onto our area early next year!

Earlier this year Sam's had $50 cards for $46.77, which is just about 7% off. They have been replacing them with 3x$50 for $142 and change, which is just lesst Han 5%, but if you can get 1% back from your CC company, it is slightly better than Target. You may be able to still fund the single cards in some Sam's, but I know they are sold out around me.

i bought $500 in groceries and $700 in disney cards, disney card discount wouldn't work, manager didn't buy the entertainment card story. ow well saved $104 on my grocery/houshold purchases, the clerk nicely then took the gc off my bill.

This worked for me without a hitch in Westland Michigan. The trick is you need to grab all different types of Disney card types and sizes in the store. Some came up with discount some did not. Some cards are Entertainment Cards and Some are Gift Cards. But the manager has the option to ring it up with 20% across the board. This manager was very nice.

We were able to buy $8,000 in cards!

My local Target (and surrounding area) would not honor the coupon. I was able to find one at a Target about an hour away where the manager did the over ride. I'm thrilled I got what I was able to get. I do feel this ship may have sailed.

I lucked out also. My local Target (and surrounding area) would not honor the coupon. I was able to find one at a Target about an hour away where the manager did the over ride. I'm thrilled I got what I was able to get. I do feel this ship may have sailed. Happy holidays!!

yup, ship has sailed at my store. I tried the paper backed cards as well as the snap apart kind. Had a nice conversation with the store manager, telling her that I wanted to buy 5K worth. No go, said she would not override, they had people asking earlier as well. no no. No.


Oh well, didn't hurt to try and I did save over $100 on a huge grocery and a couple of presents purchase.

Maybe there will still be another promo like last year, close to Xmas. Really would've been nice!

Sams has been selling the $50 cards for about 7% off. I do buy WM GCs since my store is considered grocery by Disney Visa and I get 2% in rewards points.

Haven't got some in a few months waiting for Target's deal, but this one came and went so now hoping for an FB promo. However, I have a feeling that this year it won't work...

FYI - the Amex Blue Preferred card gives 6% back at grocery stores (cap of $6K/year) and 3% on gas. There is an annual fee, but they waive it for the first year. The cash back more than pays for the fee. Best deal I've found out there. When I buy my gift cards at Kroger it counts as a grocery purchase, and I get the 6% cash back.

I had the same problem at Target. Explained to Manager that I get 5 percent off with the red card because The Disney card is an entertainment card....no go! I even showed him this thread from Disboards, but he would not budge! I was very nice, but I was also very frustrated....He couldn't even believe that I got the 5 percent off with the red card - because he considers these cards - gift cards!

Score!! If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Or in my case, call the mgr at a different Target. 4 mgrs firmly (almost rudely) told me no on the coupon. Got in the car. Called a different Target. Mgr said the coupon is not keyed to work but she would be happy to over-ride it. When I got there, they had my $5000 in $50 increments all laid out for me at guest services. 2 mgrs happily teamed up and happily applied my coupon and my red card!!!! I see a bonus cruise in my future with what we saved!!! Happy Days!!

It sort of worked for me. Went to Target with my buddy. She bought $53 worth of stuff, plus we had $200 in disney cards (3 different kinds, 2 $50 cards, 2 $25 snap off cards and 2 $25 paper backed cards). Grand total before the discount was 253. Saved $23, which means it worked on $50 worth of cards. Just not sure which ones! I have another coupon that I'm going to use on Thursday

Did not work for me I still bought them ( 8) but dudnt get the %20 off. Even had the cashier ask manager if the coupon was suppose to work after she cashed me and it did not automatically take it off. But he said no .

FYI, my Amex Blue Cash does not give me the increased percentage on grocery purchases when I buy Disney Gift Cards at Kroger.

I asked to speak to the. Manager. I was polite and said I had the 20% coupon and wondered if it could be used for the Disney cards and paid for on my Red Card. She was very nice. Said it would not. Work normally but she was happy to do it. I did tell her I wanted $5000. She was great (thought she'd squawk at the amount). She was very grateful I called ahead instead of just scooping them up from all over the store.
