I loved ToN but felt that the parade "Jumped the Shark" so to speak when they put on the bastar*ized version known as ToD. Leonardo was waay too freakish and the loss of the Sage of Time really ruined the pagentry for me.

I hope the replacement is as good as the original ToN.

The dreamcatcher characters are almost creepy. The music was changed for the worse. The concept was lost.

I don't understand why they changed it... the millennium is still quite new. The Sage of Time would have withstood the test of time. I think it could have lasted longer if they had left it alone.

Can anybody definitely confirm for me that the last day for ToD is March 1? Since it's my favorite parade, I'm making a special trip to Disney that weekend just to see it one more time, and was going to make a reservation, but I want to make sure before I make the reservation....

MY DD is a CM at WDW. While she is now a face character, she still does ToD on occasion--she did it last week, as a matter of fact. She was told at that time that March 1st was the final day. March 1st is a Saturday--it makes sense that the final performance would be that day because CM's start their new schedules each week on Sunday. Of course, Disney is known to change things very quickly, so it's possible this date will change too--as of now, however, the last day is March 1st.

Ok thanks PKK/MJK, I guess I'll go ahead and make reservations, and then if it changes at the last minute, it changes at the last minute, what can I do. I know everything there is subject to change, LOL, so I'll take my chances, and off we go!

YIKES!! I might have to rearrange my schedule from AK and DisneyQuest on March 1 to EPCOT now. I love watching the parade with a glass of wine in hand.
