Tangled Meet n Greet

Has anyone been to the Tangled meet n greet lately? What time does it open, and what were the wait times like? Any tips for the best time to do this? My DD loves Rapunzel.

I was wondering the same thing DGD2 loved that movie and has me looking up YouTube trailers all the time

While visiting during Thanksgiving week, the line was well over an hour the mulitipule times a day I checked it. The line didn't open until 10am, no one was queing up before the line opened. My guess is because there was no CM standing at the line entrance to answer questions.

From the reviews I've read, they do a fantastic one on one session, not rushed at all.

We were there in December and they start at 10 but I don't know if it was because of the awful weather but they didn't come out until 11 both days. Again that may have just been because of the torrential rain but even then we were told to get there early that they DO close the line. There is a que area and if you get there you can wait and then when they DO open up they only let in a few people at a time. We arrived about 30 mins before and then they were late so waited about 45 mins. Got some GREAT pics though!

I would DEF advise getting there early no matter what.

We just recently did this and it is horrible!...well here is why...

Whenever you get to the parks get the schedule from the front gate.

As soon as they open Tangled they have to close it because they only take a certain amount of ppl...so here is the trick...STAY THERE. DO NOT LEAVE THE LINE!

Wait there when the line is "closed" before the line opens and hold your spot...we were there for 6 days and kept missing her 5 times so on the 6th day my DH and I took turns waiting while the other parent took our DD on rides. It was the ONLY way to get in to see Rapunzel and Flynn.

Once we got inside it was wonderful though

Of all the character Meet-N-Greets I have to say that this one is the worst managed! It is a small area that they rope off and once the area is opened it fills with the ppl waiting. Then they close it once it is filled. Stand/sit right by the rope/garbage can to the left of the front door...look on the ground you will see the black tape that shows where the front of the line is.

I'm with you. I went the first weekend that the Meet & Greet opened (Oct 15 i think?) and the line was about a 20 min wait (Rapunzel had to go 'bush her hair' and we had to wait for her to return ) but I felt like it went well. Me and my friend are both in our 20s and Flynn & Rapunzel still gave us lots of attention and talked a lot! I think it's the most attention a character has given me without having a younger child present!
Maybe since the film opened the demand has grown. But I thought it was fun! I was in DL this past Monday & Tuesday and I never saw a very long line for the meet & greet.

I did the same with Chicken Little...we were in the animation building and I was like...what is that chicken and duck doing in here?!?!? But I we visited and I got great pics with no wait

We were DLR Jan 9-11. Line for Rapunzel was up to 90 minutes mid-day Sunday; another time that we strolled by on Tuesday it was 30 minutes. Hours were 11am-5pm (park opening was at 10am).

maybe by nov-dec it be easy. I havent seen the movie but we will on dvd an i think it be good to see some the new charcters. her, an the princess frog one, an tink an hers i still want to get

I think it'll be there for a while. They built her a building and themed it inside and out. If it were a temperary thing I don't think they would have dropped that much money/time/effort into making the meet and greet. However, this is only my opinion and I've been wrong before.

This is all great info! I'll have to keep tabs on this meet and greet to make sure nothing changes before we go in June. DD will definitely want to meet them!
