Tampa maybe?

Will be flying out of Tampa . Would like to spend a day or two at the beach. Thirty minutes to an hour outside of Tampa would be fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

BEST BEACH OF ALL IN THE AREA: Ft. Desoto Park, worth the drive from any of the above, county park with picnic areas, showers, Spanish American war fort (with guns) great beaches!!
