"Talking" monorail magnet - Where can I get one?

Does anyone know when I can get the monorail magnet that "says", "Please stand clear of the doors."?

I've seen those magnets. I collect them (magnets) and those are in all the parks right now. That's the only place I buy them though, so I'm not sure about e-bay or anything. But I see your about to visit WDW so you might as well wait and get one there. Look in the gift shops on Mainstreet, most likely the Emporium. Or Mouse Gear in EPCOT.

That sounds so cool! I did not know they had talking magnets at Disney World, I will have to look for them when I go in October.

Do you know if they have any other talking magnets and if so what other ones do they have?

I bought one on ebay for a couple dollars more than I could get one in the parks. I didn't want to wait til our next trip because i wanted to give it to my wife for something else. I'd also be curious to know if there were other talking magnet type things...

I have to be honest, I don't know if they have any other "talking" magnets right now. If so, I haven't seen them yet. WDW changes the selections all the time though. They do have some neat ones that light up. They have "Walt Disney World 2004" on them and fireworks that light up. It's my favorite one so far this year. I try to buy a few on every trip. One word of advice, stick to the hard magnets. The soft (rubber) ones only last a few years before they start to curl up. Hope this helps. Maybe someone else will know more and will post it.

We love this magnet!! Every time my kids pass the fridge, they turn it "on" and we're reminded of the monorail, sounds JUST like it. I found it at the gift shop at Wilderness Lodge (the only place I saw it in Jan.).

Got ours earlier this month at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Isn't there a specialty store in Downtown Disney/Westside that sells all magnets? Wouldn't you be able to get one there?? I remember browsing in there during my 2002 trip, and they had some talking magnets there. Just a thought!

I got mine at the World of Disney store in downtown disney in one of those spinning bins. Its a white monorail about 4 inches,with a red button that when pressed it says 3 things: please hold on to the handrails, please stay clear of the doors,& Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas. It costs a couple bucks. We also keep ours on the fridge and can't resist pressing it,for it reminds us of disney. Hope you enjoy yours as well,when you get it.

Ok, you guys have talked me into this. I just got off the phone with WDW mail order and ordered my magnet. I pulled up a picture of the monorail magnet on Ebay, and I absolutely have to have one! They did not have these out when we were there this past October. I've been wanting to order the new Magic Kingdom DVD and the Wishes soundtrack, so this just sealed the deal. Hopefully this will tide me over till our 05 trip.

I bought one last week on my honeymoon for my new husband and I. We also got one for my parents.

It says:
"Please hold on to the handrails."
"Please stand clear of the doors."
"Por favor mantengan se alejaudo des les puertas."

Please forgive my spanish spelling if it is incorrect.
It is the coolest little magnet though. We found it in the shop next to the Uptown Jewelers(I think). It was in the shop with home stuff.

I am *so* glad I asked this question. I plan on buying several of these magnets on my June trip. The Spanish saying is my warm fuzzy when I need one. I think I'm also going to include it on my answering machine. I know I'm strange, but my family and friends have learned to deal

Yes I enjoyed the one that I got at DTD last January. It was quite amusing. BTW nice description.
