Talking Mickey test at WDW: Confirmed

WDWmagic is reporting that the talking Mickey that was seen at DLR last year may be making an appearance at Town Square Theater as early as tomorrow for Meet and Greets. However, they gave no detail as to where this info is coming from.

If any one is going to be in MK soon, please check into it and let us know what you find.

Me too! I agree!! I'd love to meet Talking Mickey!

The "talking Mickey" seen in that clip on linked wdwmagic.com page cannot make multiple interactive guest appearances.
That particular Mickey requires the on-premise services of one or more of some of the highest-paid cast members from the Disney company.

There was a different "talking Mickey" who appeared at DL a year or so ago, but he was much more "stiff" and limited in his communication and had trouble communicating with guests.

(He could not, for example, call guests by name.)

HERE is a clip of that version of "talking Mickey."

HERE is the one (same?) that was at Disney D23 Expo this year.

These guys are not too "fluid," I'm afraid.
Although expensive, this version could be duplicated as much as needed.

This version is the more likely one to show up for WDW guests.

We'll just have to wait and see exactly what kind of (if any) "talking Mickey" makes future guest appearances.

I agree! I hope that by next year when we go Talking Mickey is a daily experience! (or atleast weekly. I would plan my visit around it!)
