DH and I have ADR's with the Candlelight Processional pkg, there for lunch. We have talked about trying it several times but this will be our 1st time. I have some concern's I really can't eat spicy (hot) food. Someone my DH works with told him its all spicy and they hated it. I have looked at the menu, and it doesn't read as everything is spicy... am I missing something?

Thoughts or recommendations... Please

Spice Road Table was one of the dining delights of our last trip. Yes, the food is spiced. As in, seasoned and flavoured with the herbs and spices typical of the region from which the dish comes from. Spiced, but not spicy as in 'hot'.

I totally agree with Minnie Mom. Everything is indeed spiced -primarily to the region it represents. Our server warned me that the mixed grill skewers I was ordering were 'spicy". I found they had a bit of a bite but we're not too hot. I enjoyed it totally

Had three dinners there. With the mixed grill the seasoning on the chicken one was a little spicy but not overly hot, there was some harissa on it so if that's too much for you avoid it. The beef skewer was flavored more with herbs and had no heat at all. I am not a fan of hot spicy and I enjoyed them both.

The BEST entrée there is the rack of lamb! Not hot spicy but very flavorful, one of the best dishes I had the whole trip so we went again for that. Our waiter said the lamb was by far their most popular dish.

OP here - Thanks so much,

We love spice's and trying new food, So now I feel much better than before.

We are planning to try Spice Road Table for the first time, too. Any reviews on the veggie platter or the lamb sliders?

also - has anybody watched Illuminations from here? Is it a good view?
As I usually watch from next door in Japan, I can say that the angle will be good. Your issue would then be if your view of the overhead pyro is blocked by the roof over your head, depending on how far back from the edge you are.

We had a light lunch here and it was great! We each ordered an appetizer then shared them around the table, some things were spicy (like the shrimp) but others were only spiced in the sense of flavorful like the hummus fries (which are a MUST TRY if you like hummus at all, pretty amazing!). I haven't watched Illuminations but from where we sat it seemed like it would be a great view if you have a water table, if you have a table more in towards the walkway the ceiling might block it a bit...
