Talk to me about Paris :-)

Next dlp trip is for 6 days and we're thinking about spending a morning or afternoon in Paris. What can we do with a pushchair in tow? Can they go up the Eiffel tower? Is a river cruise worth it? Any other recommendations? We've done all the galleries/museums before children so its more the sights we'd like to see instead of inside.

There are some lovely parks in Paris:
Jardin du Luxembourg
Jardin des Tuileries
Jardin des Plantes
Bois de Vincennes
Parc des Buttes-Chaumont
to name a few.

Great for little ones to run around in or space to push the pushchair, with different things to look at or play on in each. And they're free!

yes i wAS thinking about spending a day in paris on our next trip.
the wife has hinted about me taking her to some romantic places one day and paris has been mentioned a few times in the past (along with rome, barcelona, florence, venice and the bahamas)

i dont think any of us would go up the eifel tower, none of us like heights much!

a boat ride along the river seems viable to me. and the kids might enjoy that as they have never been on a boat! And if the weather isnt too bad for MArch, then maybe visit one of those parks mentioned above.

I liked the boat trip - a nice relaxing way to see some sights

Not sure if you can take a buggy up the Eiffel Tower though - I don't recall seeing any, but there is a lift that can be used, so I suppose they must

Loved the gardens around the Louvre too

I really hated our day in Paris so not going to be much help to you there, but I loved our day at the Parc des Felins.
Really easy to get to by bus from DLP, just 1 change at Coulommieres and the bus stops just outside the park. As well as the cats they had some goats, ponies and the lemur island is amazing.
