Talk to me about Animal Kingdom trails

When we were there, we used Genie + for a short wait at Safari, but the standby line was nearly back to the restrooms.

Make sure you don't miss all the animals when walking into the park, the Discovery Island trails near the Tree of Life! So peaceful and so many! Lots of birds, giant tortoises, porcupines, I think we saw a type of pig? And not many people are around so you can spend a lot of time just talking to the animals! :D

At night we ended up there and somehow were right underneath the tree as the Beacons of Light Show started playing, it was awesome! (and then I wondered if people could see us) 😂

Haven’t done Maharajah since I was a kid but finally got to explore Gorilla Falls in September-you just head that way after the safari. All the animals in that area were out in full swing

probably will just skip EE if safari and EE are out and i’m skipping Kali due to water.

rethinking a later entry though still morning, G+ safari or NaVi and pay FOP
do the trails and some shows and still exit at 2-3 ish, i did want to see Pandora at night but there doesn’t seem to be enough to stay all day

Maharajah Jungle Trek is one of the most beautiful themed spaces in all of Walt Disney World. Even without the animals, it would be worth wandering through, at least once.

I couldn't get my wife to walk these trails in the humid Florida temps, now it is her favorite part of AK no matter the weather!

She prefers Gorilla Falls for the animal viewing, but I really like the theming and architecture of the Maharajah Jungle Trek.
Yeah I often have to do a bit of leg pulling to get my DW & DD to do them, but then afterwards they are always happy they did.
