Taking the bus to miniature golf?

The last few times we've been to WDW, we drove down and had our car with us. This year, we're flying and it's been a few years since we have had to rely on Disney transportation. We're staying at CBR and I was thinking of miniature golf - how convienient are the buses? Would it just eat up too much of the day? We don't go to a theme park every day - we always plan to have at least one day to hang by the pool, etc. I'd appreciate any insight.

I also wondered this about mini golf: if BB closes at 5, do the buses still run to WinterSummerland afterward? I read they were open until 11pm.

What is the best way to get to Fantasia Gardens using Disney transportation?

The only options for Disney Transportation to Fantasia Gardens would be to take a bus or boat to the Swan and walk across the street. This can be time consuming if you are not already at a park. If you have to go from your resort to a park or DTD then to the Swan, it can take a while. The other option is to take a taxi if you are not driving.

As for Winter Summerland, I believe the last time we did this there was a bus between DTD and Winter Summerland after Blizzard Beach hours. The direct buses from the waterpark to resorts shut down about an hour after closing. I could be wrong on this, but that is how I remember it working.

Going to Fantasia from CBR shouldn't be too bad. Take the bus to Studios (close to your resort), then boat to Swan/Dolphin. Walk across the street. I think it would be very doable.

Were were there in December after BB closed. We waited an hour for a bus when we were done. The bus driver said they are really hit or miss after BB closes. Just keep that in mind if you are going late in the evening like we did. It was a blast and loved all the courses. It is now a must do for us.

The bus driver you spoke to was mistaken. The CSR Bus out of Epcot goes through BB after leaving CSR. This is on a regular schedule till 11:00 PM, when Winter Summerland closes. Therefore if the CSR/EPCOT bus is running every 20-30 minutes, then you will see that bus at BB every 20-30 minutes. Of course mistakes do happen and you may get a driver who forgets to go there.

Please note that if you are going to Winter/Summerland after BB closes you have to go to EPCOT to transfer to the CSR bus. Epcot is the only way to get there
