This will be my 5th trip to the world, but my 1st as a mommy, my daughter will be 1 the day after we get there and we are celebrating her b-day at the Crystal Palace.
I am wondering what rides can she get on?? can anyone help.
Thanksprincess:

We took our ds when he was 8 mos and we were surprised how many things hes could go on.
Basically you can take them on everything that doesn't have a height restriction. You can check out disney's site. I believe they have a list. Of course you also need to consider the fright factor if your little one is afraid of the dark or loud noises.
Overall I think you'll be amazed at the number of attractions she will be able to do.
Have fun and enjoy!

Yep, there is plenty to do.

Reminder: there are also alot of places a stroller can't go, so bring a carrier. We took our son in the baby bjorn at 11 mos and 18 mos (even though we pretty much did use it at home at that point). Don't forget!

She can ride anything without a height requirement. We were there in Sept 2 weeks b4 my dd's 1st b-day. She was fascinated with everything! I brought toys & food to distract her if she "acted up" but she was great. We used the bjorn to hold her in line (she is not walking yet) & to hold her on rides. She was afraid of the non human characters (good luck at CP for her b-day - we did Chef Mickey & dd cried every time a character came near her!). She did not mind the dark or the noise (but we were holkding her close so I guess she felt comforted). It was a great trip. We tried to keep her on a routine, coming back to the room for naps & not staying out too late. Make sure you take lots of pics!
Also, if you go to Harmony Barber Shop to get her hair cut, they will give her "1st haircut" mouse ears!!

I was just there with my 16 mo old and there was alot she could go on. The only things she couldn't was the bigger roller coaster types, Dinosaur, Stitch etc. She was able to go on everything in Magic Kingdom and the smaller boats in Epcot. It was great. For the others they had child swap to make it easier to go on and not wait on long lines. We just jumped on the fast pass line with the swap pass.:)

We took our little guy for his first birthday and he rode (and loved) everything that didn't have a height requirement. Some of his favorites were Dumbo, Pooh, Tiki Room, Country Bears, the Safari, and Journey Into Your Imagination. He wasn't bothered by anything dark and scary (like Haunted Mansion or Pirates) or by anything loud (like fireworks). In fact, he LOVED Illuminations and Wishes! He also really enjoyed all the modes of Disney transportation - busses, boats, monorails, etc. And, of course, he was crazy about the pool at the AKL. He absolutely loved playing in the zero entry area. As for characters, he loved them, too! We also celebrated his birthday with a breakfast at the Crystal Palace and we all had a great time. He had absolutely no fear of the characters at all. We got some awesome pictures. Anyway, I guess it just goes to show that every kid is different. Have a great time!

This is a great thread for me as on our trip in January our DS will be celebrating his 1st birthday. I have a PS for lunch at CP (seems like great minds think alike). Anyway, getting back to the original post ,went 3 years ago when my other DS was 5 months old and we took him on everything. We have great video footage of him riding the Tea Cups and chatting away to Daisy Duck and others at character meets. Problems we had:

No strollers allowed in lines. We nearly broke our backs with this one. This time I have bought a belt hip-seat that should support my back and DS.

Sit down shows. My DS was noisy and a wriggler and I always ended up taking him out so as not to disturb guests. This happened on Muppetvision, Voyage of Little Mermaid, Tough to be a Bug. Make sure you and DH take it in turns if this happens to you, somehow I always ended up missing the good bits ie. the end

So feel free to take DD on anthing without the height restriction but just thought would give you a little piece of experience too. Have fun!
