Hi all....

I was wondering if there were any restrictions on what we could bring and if I should pack anything a special way? (I know about liquids but im talking food food..not drinks)

We will be flying during lunch time and wanted to pack a little lunch for the kids.

Thanks so much!

What do you plan to pack? Peanut Butter & Jelly are ok as long as they are on a sandwich, not in a jar.

I always pack a small soft sided cooler with lunch - sandwiches, fruit, veggies and and snacks. As long as nothing in the cooler meets the "liquid" restrictions you are fine - so no applesauce, pudding, etc - nothing that can't hold it's shape outside a container. I use frozen grapes as and "ice pack" - works really well.

I also purchase drinks in the airport after security but before boarding so we have what we like when we want and don't have to wait on the FA's to serve.

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to know!

It's another surprise trip for our twins so we plan on getting them up like its a regular school day. They pack their own lunches (with a little guidance or it would be all cookies :rotfl:) so the plan is to have them pack it and bring it on the plane...not telling them we are going to Disney until they get in the car.

I'll just have them drink the juice or water before we get to the airport.

Thanks again! :goodvibes

I would also say that as a courtesy to your fellow flyers, don't pack any stinky food. No tuna fish or limburger cheese please.:)
