Taking food off ship into foreign ports

We asked on board about chips. The only ones available were of the family style serving...in a basket with tongs and plates. No individual options.

Okay. A few years ago they had individual packets of Lays potato chips outside of Tow Maters.

That would have been awesome!!! Maybe other ships were different, but I definitely would not count on DCL having any prepackaged snacks other than cereal to take off the ship.

The stores did have some candies and pretzels...but they were $$

I bring granola bars. They don't take up much room to pack and that way you have them.
