Going to Disney this week as my twins are part of Pop Warner Cheerleading and have made it to Nationals..YEAH! One question, we are complelely BROKE because of this trip (hubby been out of work 6 months) so to even get to Disney is a stretch..we have no money really to spend at the parks, Is it allowable to bring sandwhiches into the park and water in a backpack? We just can't drop money on food in the park..how strict are they on bringing that in?

Also we have a camcorder we want to bring, what do you do with yours when you go on fast rides? Is there some place they allow you to keep it or do you just take it on the ride with you? ::MickeyMo :flower:

Congratulations on your twins' accomplisment! I know what you are going through, my dh was out of work for around 5 months at this time 3 years ago, I hope everything works out for you. You can definitely take sandwiches and water into the park. They don't like big coolers, and glass bottles are a no-no. We have taken sandwiches, trail mix, energy bars and fruit in. You will see many people doing this, I don't think Disney enforces this "no outide food in" thing unless you are bringing in something over the top. As far as camcorders, we put ours in a backpack and many rides have places to store backpacks. If not my dh just puts one of the straps around his leg and puts it snugly between his feet/calves. We usually wrap the camcorder in a jacket too for extra cushion. We have camcorded every Disney trip and love watching our footage and seeing how the kids change each trip. They will tell what rides/shows/attractions you cannot camcord during. Have a great trip!

Thanks so much! Whew what a relief!! I'm so glad! We just can't spend the extra money on food..otherwise we won't be able to get back to NC! LOL! We'll pack a nice little assortment of food and just picnic in the park..thanks!!

My DD is a very picky eater and we usually bring a PB&J in for her. I would recommend you pack the sandwiches in Glad or Ziplock disposable (reusable ;)) square containers to keep them from getting smooshed by your camera or the water bottles.
