taking a cab to the park

Has anyone ever taken cabs to the park, if so where are you dropped off, or should be be dropped off at the resorts (ex Boardwalk) and walk to the park?

Cab locations at the parks.

MK - TTC in the guest drop off lot. Walk over to ferry or monorail to get to MK
EPCOT - East side Disney bus area.
Studios- Taxi waiting area which is in the parking lot nearest the charter bus lot
AK- Taxi area in the charter lot which is to the right of the main enterance near the handicap lot.

When we took a taxi to the MK we asked the driver to take us to the Contemporary Resort and told him we were going to walk to the park. He let us off by the walking path near the guard station so that shortened our walk to the MK even more.
